For too long, perhaps spurred by erred doctrine or theology, Christians have been silent and not truly active in fighting for their rights under the U.S. Constitution. It is about time that the sleeping giant quit voting for anti-Christ and unconstitutionalist leaders who advocate sodomy and Muslim agendas more than for natural and traditional and God-ordained marrriage and what made America excellent.

The sleeping giant is the huge, mostly Democratic-aligned voting bloc that either isn't interested in voting or is prevented from voting by the modern-day poll tax, aka Voter ID laws.
Face it, the old white male Christians that the Republican'ts appeal to are a dying breed.
Why would you have had to fight? People like you always ran things. It's only now that you sense a change in that dynamic that you've decided to get all melodramatic.
Sucks to be on the losing side for a change, doesn't it?
"what made America excellent.”
Which was evidently racism, slavery, sexism and genocide. That TOTALLY made america excellent.
Christians have been anything but silent, what with the constant screaming tantrums about things that have no effect of them whatsoever. Unless, of course, you're referring to the issues that christians have been silent about, such as oppression & inequality, destroying the environment, suppressing science, ending the near constant wars & anything at all that will help us move forward, then yes, christians have been remarkably silent.
Luck & good timing is what made America excellent. We no longer are, courtesy of republican voting christians. I hope they're proud of themselves; I'm certainly not.
BTW-using a handle like "southern patriot" implies you have zero creativity & zero cognitive abilities. Just shut your noise hole & go back to watching your Duck Dynasty garbage; it's much more your speed.
"what made America excellent."
Slavery? Insistent refusal to pay taxes? Coming to a war late and grabbing all the glory? Creating and deploying the single deadliest weapon in human history? Snatching Nazi scientists and putting them to work for us?
Its way past time that Christians voted according to their beliefs, except that they have, and they dont believe all of the Bible.
Christian women want birth controland abortion. They want the right to decide their own futures and not be the property of a man.

No they haven't. The US Constitution just doesn't grant them the rights they think they have. When some Christians challenged the overturning of Prop 8, the judge basically said "how does this affect you"? When they couldn't answer, the case was dismissed.
... Christians have been silent ...
Funny, but it seems to many that you are getting louder, shriller and more juvenile by the day.
@Yossarian Lives:
You may think that the giant is sleeping, but it's actually on its hospital bed dying.
That's an awesome quote, and deadly accurate. Except that the giant is not much of a giant these days.
I remember watching some documentary, I think it might have been Jesus Camp, where some fundie Christian guy was smugly saying that Christians are such a majority in this country that they can choose who will be the next president. Of course this was still when Bush II was in power and before Obama the Antichrist got elected and then re-elected.
Giant, my ass. It's comical how all these conservative Christian fundies think the vast majority of the country agrees with them when they're really a minority.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
