I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word "faggot," so I -- so kind of an impasse, can't really talk about Edwards.

What bothers me is that, in the same weekend, Bill Maher expressed regret that Cheney wasn't successfully assassinated and no one seemed to mind. Coulter makes a joke that's clearly about our overly-PC culture and it's a cardinal sin. Maher wishes death on our Vice President and no one bats an eye. Something's wrong with this picture.
TheMissus, the difference is this: Maher is a comedian, and Ann Coulter is presented in some circles as an astute political thinker has convinced the Fox "news" watching league of mentally retarded voters that her opinion means something other than she's got a mutation that allows her to fart out of her mouth.

Okay -- someone explain to me why if Ozzie Guillen calls a sportswriter a faggot because he's being a punk, Ozzie gets in trouble; but this twat can call Edwards a faggot (and let's not forget that she decided Bill Clinton was a fag because he kept wanting to have sex with women...), and it's perfectly okay...
