Darwinism is a religious belief that cannot be proved scientifically. [Richard] Dawkins thinks that because human fetuses look kind of like pig fetuses, that proves that humans are related to pigs. It’s a primitive and fanatical belief system which does not tolerate any criticism of its dogma.

Thinking that humans are somehow related to pigs because fetuses kind of look like it still makes more sense than believing an omnipotent, benevolent and omniscient being created the world within 6 days 6000 years ago. It's kinda like standing in the rainforest with heavy clouds saying "Gee, I think it's gonna rain today" opposed to standing in the Gobi desert claiming there will be a flood.
Re the not tolerating any criticism of it, criticism of the theory of evolution (not "Darwinism") is a good thing and not a bad thing. Criticism hones and improves the model, though admittedly these days there's not much honing to be done.
But criticism which is based on ignorant or deliberate misunderstandings becomes very, very tedious to repeatedly refute. When you see the same arguments, based on the same misapprehensions, repeated time and time again, it does become frustrating, especially when a simple Google search would clear up most misunderstandings.

Nothing can be "proved" scientifically. We get an idea. We test it against reality. If it works, we keep it. If it fails, we get rid of it. Evolution isn't a religious belief, because unlike a religious belief, which has no empirical evidence for it, evolution has a mountain of evidence supporting it.
"It’s a primitive and fanatical belief system which does not tolerate any criticism of its dogma."
Once again, Joe sums up his religion very succinctly.
Dawkins thinks that because human fetuses look kind of like pig fetuses, that proves that humans are related to pigs.
A wall! A wall! My kingdom for a brick wall!
I need to, repeatedly, run head first into a solid brick wall to dull the pain from reading the OP!
@Mech610, actually it's pigshit.

I nominate Tailgunner Joe for a Shiny Mirror Award.
my poe senses are tingling.
if it is true:
darwinism is A SCEINTIFIC THEORY with ACTUAL TANGIBLE PROOF, if you took 30 seconds to consult google or any primary school science textbook.you'd find out all the proof you'll need. Also, the pig fetus is mentioned nowhere in dawkins's works. i should know, i've proudly read them all through and would gladly do it again.

[citation needed]
Even if Dawkins did make that claim, that still doesn't make it true.
Confused?
