I'm only commenting here because I just wanted to note that the Obama family were color-coordinated in red and black when he gave his acceptance speech in Grant Park on Tuesday evening, so I'm predicting that we'll see some fundie quotes suggesting that their color choice somehow signifies something demonic. Wait for it.

I'm hoping this man is caring for a disabled wife who can't dress her own self--this is how I read it. That's actually pretty sweet, I think. Also, I think the "no t-shirts or buttons" rules are absolute bullshit, so I can't really dislike how this guy (and probably, hopefully, his wife) thought.
I grew up in England where red was left, blue was right. It leaves me with cognitive dissonance to this day.

in 2005, Mrs. BuckeyePete suffered a massive stroke. She's paralyzed and confined to a wheel chair. She is fully dependant on her family, who provide the care she requires 24/7. WHICH includes dressing her, and helping her do her daily physical therapy, with the SMALL hope that she might one day regain SOME of her independance.
