The world's population is massively decreasing? News to me. It was 6.085 billion in 2000 and 6.46 billion in 2005. That seems like an increase to me, but I guess I'm not using Biblical math.

First, Africa has an epidemic of HIV, so trying to prevent the whole damn continent from getting HIV sounds like a good idea to me. Second, many African nations are starving. And what do starving people do to take their minds off of their starvation? Fuck. Which doesn't help their starvation, and, indeed, produces more people, making things worse. Of course, we do send medical supplies and food to africa.
Well, except the fundies. They send bibles, and occasionally, if someone converts, they'll give them some food.

Massively decrease the world's population? Heck, we haven't even managed to slow down the insanely fast increase in population much, if at all, on a global basis!
I remember when we hit six billion and there was a huge fanfare, but seven billion, just a few years later, snuck in like a thief. Yeah, nice decrease. I wish my savings account would decrease like that.
