Is his theory that Al Gore worships the environment, so therefore he supports ending discrimination against gays, which will encourage more people to be gay, which in turn will reduce the population, which will therefore help the environment? Good Lord!
Here. I've got another one: the Easter Bunny protects the environment. How? The Easter Bunny encourages people to color eggs, which will encourage people to eat more eggs, which will raise their cholesterol level, which will lead to increased heart disease, which will reduce the population, which will help the environment.
So let me get this line of reasoning straight:
Al Gore is for gay rights because that will cause everyone to turn gay, and to either not have kids, or to get AIDS and die, thus saving the planet. And environmentalism is a false religion (even if it were a religion, what makes it false anyway?). Is that about right? Is this what you are trying to convince people? Really???
Well, maybe if we had fewer people, we could invest more in education and teach you to write properly. Anyway, and jokes aside, he's just warning about the consequences, not just of too many people, worse, of too many people wasting too much energy. If he just wanted fewer people having children, contraconceptives would work better.
People will eventually die, so the real problem is not having children in the first place.
