Carbon dating has a circular logic that tries to prove archeology with geology then geology with archeology. It is unreliable considering +or- 1 million years to be good. If carbon dating is what you are basing your agnostic beliefs on then you should reconsider

Erm you really know nothing about particle and radiation physics do you? As someone who does, i can tell you that carbon 14 dating uses a radioactive isotope found in all living things that contines to decay after the animal/plant has expired. Using the known and proven halflife of this isotope, scientists can identify to a degree when the sample was originally created (e.g. born).
The fact that radioactive decay is 100% random means that it can only be given to a certain degree based on the halflife. In short; Large halflife = Less accuracy. Nowhere however is geology involved as there is no carbon 14 in naturally occuring rocks. Fossils however do, and even with the +/- 1000000 years diffence, it is still enough to give undisputable evidence that there are things that have lived long long before the Bible claimed that the world was created.
If blind ignorance is what you are basing your ignorant beliefs on then you should reconsider.
"Christianity has a circular logic that tries to prove God with the Bible, then the Bible with God. It is unreliable considering all the contradictions. If the Bibleis what you are basing your religious beliefs on, then you should reconsider"
No it doesnt.
No its not.
No.
Carbon dating only is good to about 35,000 years. The error bars can be fairly small.
Other radiometric dating methods are good to billions of years and may have +- 1 million year variations but 3.2billion +1 1 million is not bad.
“Carbon dating has a circular logic that tries to prove archeology with geology then geology with archeology.”
No, i think you misunderstand. They use multiple dating methods AND THEY ALL AGREE. C14 gives a date and geology gives a date in the same range.
"It is unreliable considering +or- 1 million years to be good.”
Huh? What? What do you mean by ‘good?’ Where did you get a million years? Did you read something on the subway over someone else’s shoulder?
"If carbon dating is what you are basing your agnostic beliefs on then you should reconsider”
I’m atheist. And my shift from believer to atheist had nothing to do with either real carbon dating or whatever it is you’re describing.
Confused?
