From recent experience I have firmly come to the conclusion that techno-ish or any sort of trance music (steady repetitive sub) is straight from Satan.
Looking at what it does to a crowd is scary. Aside from the obscene hip gyrations and anti-cultural head bobbings, the proximity of even the bodies is disturbing! Combined with the mdma based substances these crowds turn into the proverbial orgy of first century Rome! The image is a cup full of sinful worms.
As I sit here and listen to Fedde Le Grand's "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" I feel the urge to fornicate. This raises interesting questions in my mind -- is the entire song possessed or is it just the repetitive sub? Surely it can't be the symphasizer, as I have heard the symphasizer in some RC churches.
Besides, trancish music builds the foundation of the homosexual culture, which is becoming mainstream. Personally this is the most terrifying point, as I have worked with the products of this culture - I do not even know if what remains alive can actually be classified as human. (Meth and E driven raves ruin humanity)
Any thoughts?

"anti-cultural head bobbings"..."cup full of sinful worms"...yeah, I think you're trying too hard.
If you don't like it, stay away from it. It's that simple. Meantime, the ravers will be enjoying themselves the way THEY want to.
My thoughts? You're full of shit. That aside, I noticed that you have based your opinion strictly on your own personal experience and then projected it upon everyone there. You have measured humanity against your own yardstick of religous perfection and have declared anyone that does not measure up to be less than human?
Why aren't you just a worthy tool of the Almighty!
Haha, check out the video for Put Your Hands Up For Detroit, it's actually quite sinful, I perfectly understand his urge to fornicate.
The song "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" is entirely harmless, and rather catchy.
The video is another matter entirley. ;)
Here's something better to complain about:

I mean if you're going to tell everyone a piece of music sexually arouses you, at least pick something which doesn't make you sound completely pathetic.
Yes yes, all music, one of the most profound and deepest expressions of human emotion, are tools of Satan. Just like all other creative outlets.
Yes, that the same can be said about the Pilgrim to Mecca, the Angelus in St Peter Piazza in Rome, The Million March, etc.........and nobody has fornicated, if they didn't want to, that's it. I think that you're trying to get laid without success and are sour grapes about.
I'm not a huge fan of Techno/Electronica myself, but making these types of comments just exposes you for the idiotic religious prude that you are.
And just FYI, if there is a devil, I'm pretty sure he's into Christian rock <<shudder>>
So....you're sitting there listening to the "Satanic" music you are condemning thinking about "fornicating?"
Good Lord, man, you should be in the Museum of Dysfunctional Humans hung on the wall in a special section you have to pay extra to get in to.
Looking at what a megachurch worship service does to a crowd is scary.
And trancish music builds homosexual culture? WTF? Trance music has been around for thousands of years in communal religious rituals. Plus trance music =/= druggie.
From recent experience...
I love trance and electronic music in general. While I have indeed had pre-marital sex, it's only ever been with my fiancée (whom I only see maybe once or twice a year anyway). While I have taken drugs, that's limited to smoking weed a few times (like, maybe six or seven times at most in the past seven years).
As for the homosexual culture aspect, I have noticed a tendency for the people in this culture to be more open about questioning their sexuality, but not necessarily a tendency to be gay any more often than in any other culture.
Ahem... sort of feel like I shouldn't be correcting this since it's personal and has nothing to do with the quote, but "it's only ever been with my fiancée" since I met her, and only ever in serious relationships before that.
Just so you know.
"Any thoughts?"
Get laid.
strangely this song does not give me the urge to fornicate but the urge to turn up the volume and put my hands up.
And a proverbial orgy? so not an actual orgy? so if I went there people would only be dancing not having an orgy??
To be fair there is not much point in trance raves if you are not on the E.
Asa a techno/electronica producer myself, I think you're full of shit.
"Symphasizer"? Its a "synthesizer", you butthead, for generating SYNTHETIC sound.
Oh, why do I bother? Just go fuck yourself since you have such a strong urge to fornicate.
Repetitive basic sounds can be related to emotions.. you can make songs that make you on edge.. make you scared.. make you loved.. relaxed.. happy.. etc.. the happiest loving music i've heard comes from trance.. and if it sounds like fornication.. then probably because it's triggering the happy love part of your brain, while keeping a bpm at a pace of a g00d fuck session. Whoever originally wrote this is fucked up.
Here's a thing you do, when you feel like fornicating:
-Look around for someone who wishes to fornicate as well.
-If they wish to fornicate with you, proceed with fornication.
-If they do not, buy porn.
Pretty simple.
Sex, drugs and sin. that's why raves are great.
I used to be a raver boy (grew out of it, but still love the music) and I can just say that some of the hardcore, gabber and darkcore we listed to would really make this guy worry.
What about Rob Zombie and NIN, aren't these a little more immediately 'anti-christian?'
Oh, and yeah, I agree with 2 posts up. D&B can be better.
Confused?
