Yep, tolerance is the last virtue of a dying society, in the terms that it signals the end of reactionary, bigoted thinking. When tolerance gives way to acceptance it is an indicator that such thought is truly dead.
Yeah, let's all get AK-47s and car bombs and hijack planes. Then we can kill everybody we don't like. That'll revive civilized society! I mean, look how well that philosophy has served Al Qaeda and ISIS.
