WQe live in a Republic, so no, no one cares about God's Opinions. We, the Peopel are the Highest Authority, remember?
That;s why I became a Monarchist. I want a Christian Monarchy. God is above all, God appoints the King, and the King is answable under God's Laws and ways.
In our System, its a bottom up aproach which leads ot en seekign to do their passions and gain support for them, and Man i the Measure of all Things. We follow our Hearts, and The Heart Is Deceitful Above Al Things, and Desparately Wicked, who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9)
As Americans we are conditioend ot think of Monarhcy as Tyrnay and Republicanism a Freedom but really, Republics enslave us and degrade us far more than do Monarchies.

Divine right of kings was a horrible idea. It lets kings act in despotic ways just by saying some divine being is on their side.
But of course this is WND, which isn't exactly known for its sanity...
If you're going to popularize your message, you'll have to learn to spell.
Interesting that you should quote the Bible. In the Bible, God only reluctantly appoints Saul as a king, replacing his preferred system of judges appointed by the people, i.e. a republic.
Apparently, literacy is a pretty low priority in your Monarchy.
What did you use to type that out? Closed fists? Boxing gloves?
Your ass cheeks?

"Do they teaching typing in monarchies? "
Yes, they do (at least in some of them).

I may eventually forgive you for that mental image.

Okay, let's say America ought to be a monarchy. Who should be the monarch?
Do you see the problem here?

Good so far.
I want a Christian Monarchy. God is above all, God appoints the King, and the King is answable under God's Laws and ways.
And we're off into Christian Dominionism territory. If you think that religious monarchies are so great, then move to Saudi Arabia.
Republics enslave us and degrade us far more than do Monarchies.
Is it "Freedom is Slavery" day? Because frankly, having the ability to choose your own leaders is far more freedom than having a family dynasty running things.

I'm frightened to think that he thinks it should be someone like Ted Cruz or Rick Santorum. I guess the contest will be whoever screams the loudest that God wants them to be king.
I see, so the head of the Mormon church would be appointed as king. Interesting...
What do you mean "not that kind of Christian"?
@anothga
Okay, let's say America ought to be a monarchy. Who should be the monarch?
David J. Stewart, and Anna Diehl can be his Queen. They're so batshit crazy that that everyone would just ignore them and life would go on as normal.
After dominikus28 who wants to bring back heresy trials, we have skwills who want to bring back Divine Right for kings.
And I don't think he will take monarchies such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark or Sweden but pre-1905 Russian Empire.
How it ended:

I would rather have a Mandate of Heaven system, so as to be able to overthrow the tyrants and incapables.
The Peopel and Tyrnay families are going to be bemused by your elevating them to the aristocracy.
It would be fine with me if some tiny corner of the globe wanted to reconstitute the Franco dictatorship, which is what a surprising number of people seem to want.
I'll give you a hint. People STILL won't care about God's opinion. They'll continue to commit adultery, perform sodomy, and blaspheme. People will still preach other religions, they'll just do it underground and when prying eyes aren't watching. The only thing different will be that you'll be living in a repressive region where even the slightest public deviation from the king's interpretation of God will be severely punished. That includes you. Oh, you thought you'd be on the top of this monarchy? That's not likely. And there isn't much room for upward mobility. If the king believes we all need to pray to Mary or that we all need to speak in tongues then you don't have the religious freedom to publicly disagree with him. And even if you ARE at the top, that only makes you a target for the inevitable coup/revolution. There's a reason monarchies only exist in third world nations and even then they're not often stable. Saudi Arabia being the only example of a stable monarchy I can think of.
You want a monarchy? Try listening to Queen; that should do ya. After that, trying learning how to type properly.
I'm as American as this dumbshit, & I think "republicanism" should be listed as a treatable disease.
Imbecile.
God appoints the King, and the King is answable under God's Laws and ways.
If God does that, will we have a choice? So when's God coming here to do the appointing?

Yup, we're reminded every day of her terrible, tyrannical deeds, that horrible, dangerous person:

The monarch will be the one in command, the one making the laws and claiming to be speaking for God.
I would rather have a democratic republic where the laws are made by the people, for the people for everyone. Where no one can claim to be acting in the interests of God and using that to control others.
If you want a theocracy move to the middle east.

" Saudi Arabia being the only example of a stable monarchy I can think of."
There's also Vatican City, since I'd have to dig pretty deep into Catholic history to find the last Pope who was deposed, and even the recent example of Ratzinger/Pope Benedict was the exception to the rule when he resigned soon after being elected, rather than staying Pope for life (we in the USA saw Nixon resign, and the system didn't break down afterward).

Um, I live in an actual monarchy and we're pretty clear that it's just because they happened to be born into the right family.
Confused?
