...Y'know, I've seen and heard a lot of insane crap in my life, but everytime I read something from T4C my jaw drops in disbelief. I cannot believe that these people honestly think they are good and doing good. Seriously, I literally can't fathom how they could mistake their pride, hate, arrogance, cruelty, and ugliness for the holy work of God.
Sometimes I think it truly must be an act or a game to them, and that no one's ideas of goodness could be that truly twisted. *Sigh* but after all, I'm pretty sure they're for real. Unbelievable!
Yeah, you know what, a teen living for Christ is different, sometimes in a good way, but whenever they try to appeal to popularity, it just comes off as bizarre and unnatural, in a Donnie-Osmond-meets-Ozzy-Osbourne kind of way. That's why whenever someone says "I'm a young conservative! ..." or something similar, I just kind of tune out. It's really got nothing to do with fealty.

When I was growing up, my youth group was told to be "Odd for God". The thing was, they immediately followed up this chant with "But don't be...weird ." I was already quite weird at the time, so you can imagine the dissonance and confusion this caused in my pro-Jebus mind.
