Sandy : Homosexuality/sodomy is disgusting
Rushdog : Even if you weren't a religious person, and all you really believed in was science, and medicine, it's easy to figure out that there is something wrong with that lifestyle. Especially for men. I mean, why else would gay men be more succeptible to HIV, Hepititis, and other diseases, as opposed to straight men? You can be a straight guy, and get HIV, but it's alot less likely. To me, there has to be a reason for this. I don't think it's coincidental.

I don't think it's coincidental. No, it's not coincidental. But it's not a sign of immoral lifestyle, either. Certain groups are more susceptible than others to certain illnesses. It's like Asians being more succeptible than Whites to diabetes . Does that mean that it's sinful and/or morally wrong to be Asian?
Another example: African nations are subjected to malaria, Scandinavia isn't. Does that mean God protects Scandinavia, or simply that the malaria-carrying insects don't like the Scandinavian climate and thus will not migrate there?
It's also not a coincidence that straight women who practice anal sex are more susceptible to STIs, and for the same reason. Anal sex causes the tissue to tear slightly, making the person more likely to contract viruses and infections. Simple as that. It's got nothing to do with morality.

I mean, why else would straight women be more succeptible to HIV, and other diseases, as opposed to lesbian women? You can be a lesbian, and get HIV, but it's a lot less likely. To me, there has to be a reason for this. I don't think it's coincidental."
Moron.

They aren't. If you have sex with someone with an STD, you'll probably get it. It doesn't matter what your sexuality is.

It IS just as likely for a straight man to get AIDS. And yes, there are some risks to gay sex, but so what? There are risks for straight sex, too.

Following your logic, what a dangerous lifestyle to live in Africa and be a straight men, or woman, for that matter.

Erh?
Clay Aiken related?
You're very correct. It's the exact same reason that straight women have a much higher infection rate than lesbians. When you have someone injecting you with bodily fluids, you run a risk of infection. By your logic, anything other than lesbian sex should be banned, as all of it has inherent risk, lesbian sex the least of all.
@ Sandy
Then don't do it. Problem solved.
@ Rushdog
However, the chances of unwanted pregnancy in homosexual encounters is roughly zero. Fewer unwanted pregnancy means fewer abortions (note: members of the anti-gay crowd always seem to be anti-choice as well). Clearly, gay sex is a boon for American society and should be encouraged at every opportunity.
You see Sandy and Rushdog, I can engage in spurious, simplistic reasoning just as well as you can. You can continue to play this game, or you can get an education and join us in adult conversation. Let us know when you are ready.
Gay men are still less susceptible to HIV than women, I think. And no, it's not coincidental; It's all about the area for someone else's bodily fluids to enter the body. A straight man having vaginal sex has only the small urethra as a way into his body. But the vagina and the anus are rather large areas for viruses to enter the body.
Hepititis must be a new disease, I've never heard about it. If you mean hepatitis, there are quite a few different kinds, and only one is an STD, as far as I know.
If God doesn't like gay male sex, then why did he place the prostate gland right where it's easily stimulated during anal sex?
Confused?
