Regarding J.K. Rowling saying Dumbledore is gay...
It wouldn't surprise me if kids thought this was "cool" and want a "gay" principal because they're "fun". Kids are so easily influenced ... and indoctrinated ... here's another clever way of pushing the gay agenda on kids. Witchcraft was a hit with them so why not homosexuality. Ah, Satan is having a field day with our kids and with the consent of quite a few parents.

How is it indoctrination to learn about gays and other religions? I'm guessing you're talking about Wicca for the "witchcraft" accusation.
You fundies can't stand the thought that kids will learn about reality and real people different from them, rather than fundie dogma.
Oh btw, there is no Satan, no God, no Heaven and no Hell. Certainly NO SIN which you guys love charging gays with.
You are not a cool cat. Get out of my clowder!
Most kids don't even fucking know he's gay, I have read all seven books and don't remember a single one establishing his orientation. In fact, in the Wikipedia article for Dumbledore, there is only about one sentance that says he's gay. It's not even even in the books, she said he was gay in a speech somewhere.
Yes, of course pointing out that homosexuals can be good people is horrible! Not acceptance, nooo! We need to influence them to think gay people are bad, of course!
Man, FelixtheCat is a freaking insane gay-hater... Seriously, I think if two men held hands infront of her her head would explode. She needs some clinical help.
I seriously don't think that children care about the sexual orientation of their school principal... or anyone else for that matter. Allow me to remind you that children do not have any sex drive until puberty and by then they should be smart enough to acknowledge that homosexuality is not a choice... like a lot of you fundie idiots seem to believe.
My advice to you is: shut the fuck up!

Firefighters are still investigating the explosion at the Acme Irony Meter Company showroom. This story, and others, tonight at 11:00.
"Witchcraft was a hit with them"
WTF???
Here's a tip: two things that have the same name are not necessarily the same things.
i.e. in the bible "witch" = pagan
in Harry Potter "witch" = female non-muggle
Both are fictional. That's about all they have in common.
One solution to this would be to explain to your kids what being gay actually means, rather than letting them think it means "Awesome magic wizard."
If your kid's only exposure to homosexuality is Dumbledore, you're definitely doing something wrong.
...NEVER let your children watch the new Doctor Who episodes(especially the ones with Jack!). Cause your head would ASPLODE! I don't even have to say anything about Torchwood...
"You know we're not sisters, we're married!" or something like that, lol.
Yeah, since those Harry Potter books came out, the kids won't shut up about going to boarding schools, having furries for teachers, helping their godfathers avoid jail and playing sports on brooms. What do you mean, no?

Ignoramus Expelliarmus!
Damn, didn't work that time, either...
Isn't this the same crowd that thinks no one has any right to tell parents not to beat their children? Why are they now tsk-tsking parents who let their children read a book series?
Oh, right, because they're idiots.
"It wouldn't surprise me if kids thought this was "cool" and want a "gay" principal because they're "fun"."
You & everyone else are merely butthurt that more kids are reading JK Rowling's books than your precious KJV (to say nothing of all those teens reading the "Twilight" novels*).
PROTIP: King James was a fruit. He liked indulging in bum fun. Therefore your Bible is a homo book too. Ergo, right-wing fundies = Gay. Stick that in your phylacteric and smoke it.
Q: What's the difference between The Bible, and the "Harry Potter" books?
A: One sells by the shipload, is loved by all ages, is a great inspiration to it's readers, and has many films based on such. The other is about a fictional deity.
*- Seems the Devil doesn't just have the best tunes, neither!
Why J.K. Rowling decided to even mention this (since it has no bearing on the storyline) is beyond me. Being British I suspect she just thought it was a harmless thing to announce. Besides, she already pissed of Christians by suggeting 'good magic' in the first place
I being Canadian know what the Bible belt thinks of such talk though. I knew they'd go of the deep end.
Okay, it's been a few years. So riddle me this, Batman....how many kids out there have been converted to witchcraft by HP? Hmm? None? Well, okay, maybe not none, but certainly not the ecumenical exodus you asshats predicted.
If books influenced people the way you seem to think they do, then why am I not a Christian? I've read the bible. Vulgate, KJV, NIV, Gideon, Douai. Still, not a wiggle. Punches a big ol' Ark-sized hole in that theory, don't it?
Confused?
