“How can anyone reasonably claim to be an atheist when man hasn't even discovered what's in 90% of the earth's oceans?”
I’m an atheist because i don’t believe in any gods. What are you saying here? Is there compelling evidence for Neptune in the unexplored depths?
Well, until they find this compelling evidence, i still haven’t seen it, i haven’t been compelled to believe it, so i’m still atheist.
And what difference does it make? YOU believe in God, but not because of something hidden in the Marianas Trench.
“Pastor John Cumming is so right...”
Well, if your hateful, judgmental ass agreed with him, that’s all i need to know…to reject him.
“For anyone to say, “There is no God!,” you must yourself assume to be God!”
Ah. I would need divine knowledge of the universe to know there isn’t a god hiding out there, somewhere, you say?
But I don’t have to look under EVERY rock in the country to not see any evidence of gods. I can look where people tell me i must see evidence of gods. They offer piss-poor proofs of god, flat earth, young earth, disproofs of evolution, deep time, fossils. If the argument fails based on my current knowledge, there’s no need for me to hold out hope that someone will find evidence that supports it some day in a distant future.
I can just straight up say every fucking argument fails to convince. And if millions believe, but no one can prove, why wouldn’t i conclude there’s no god?
"No human being has traveled to the ends of the universe.”
So, maybe some day, someone’ll find a convincing argument?
Until then, i’ll be atheist as a working theory.
“In fact, no human being has ever even left the Milky Way Solar System.”
Whooooo boy, you’re not making a compelling argument for your credibility, here, davey-boy.
