To check out if Siri was so dead set about answering questions about just Christianity, I asked her questions about Buddhism and the New Spirituality and the New Age, and she offered to send me to the internet. Bingo! The only answer I could get out of her about Jesus was a fact sheet. Otherwise, just, "Humans have religion..."

Yeah, well, Siri used to direct one to junk yards and metal foundries to conveniently dispose of human bodies but she doesn't anymore. Therefore, Siri is anti-Mafia.

That's probably just the default answer to religious questions that Siri can't figure out an answer to. If you ask "who is Jesus" or "What is Christianity", it'll probably send you to the internet, just as when you asked about Buddhism and New Age. When you ask something like "tell me where in the Old Testament Jesus is", there isn't an answer (mainly because Jesus isn't in the Old Testament) and Siri simply spit out the "Humans have religion, I just have silicon." line. It's good practice for developers to program in a default string to output as a "No response found" message. And developers tend to have a sense of humor, thus a quirky response rather than the standard "No results found".
That or Siri is a magical portal to Satan. I guess both are equally likely.

Something I find hilarious about RR posters is that they seem to think that "New Age" and "New Spirituality" and whatever are actually commonly practiced religions... I never hear about New Age beliefs except when I read a fundie complaining about how apparently everybody subscribes to them nowadays!
I can't try it out myself now because I'm in public, but I believe that a clearly worded question about Christianity would send you to an internet search just in the same way that a question about Buddhism would. This person probably just asked a poorly constructed question that made poor Siri think that she was being proselytized to.
Also, Jesus? Not in the Old Testament. Pretty common knowledge there.

Yes, because machines can patch you through to Google to answer questions that don't have answers. But forget about Jesus in the OT not having an answer, Siri not patching you in to Google to answer a question about Xenu in the OT1 is anti-Scientologist.

Many fundies believe that Jesus IS in the OT or at least that he was "foreshadowed" by prophecies in the OT. Yes, they are that stupid.
Of course, this interpretation would mean that our sweet Jesus was actually guilty of all the atrocities committed by the OT god.
