Fear is a demon spirit that operates in the air, man, animals or objects. You also have five spiritual senses as well as natural senses. You should get in the practice of discerning your spirit. Fear brings bondage.

I regreted woting WTF when I read the last sentence.
rereading the rest, yes, it's still a WTF. But I agree with the conclusion : fear brings bondage.

"Fear brings bondage."
Perv.
Have it your way; the Bible tells us to fear God, so that's obviously a demon talking.
This site is a gold mine:
"Fear is the root cause of auto immune diseases. You might ask what is that pastor? All allergies! Dariy products do not cause allergies. God told the children of Israel that HE would send them to a land flowing with milk and honey! "
Aww man, I came to late to the party and everyone got the Dune quote before me..
"Fear. Fear attracts the fearful. The weak, the strong, the innocent, the corrupt. Fear. Fear is my ally."-Darth Maul in that awesome Episode One trailer that only aired like twice.
"Michael, don't fear!"-Fortuneteller's granddaughter in Phantasm (in a scene that's an homage to Paul's scene in Dune).
Fundies are fearful. They are fearful of other religions. They are fearful of science. They are fearful of opposing ideas. They are fearful of the liberation of people they do not like. They are fearful of having fun.
That's a lot of demons they've got in their lives.
Fear is defined by humans as something undesirable (or desirable to inflict in others when needed). No demons needed. And similarly, no Jesus needed to dispel fear--you just need a strong character, or in some cases, help from other humans.
if fear is a demon, why can an electrode in the brain create the emotional and even physical reactions of fear?
"Fear brings bondage”
I teach for a living. I taught in the Navy, both when i filled an instructor billet and when we taught divisional-, department-, or crew-level training, on five sea-going commands. I got hired as an instructor for the place that builds the systems i used to work on. I can’t begin to count how many times i’ve been on platform in front of a group of 1 to 70 people. 45 years of instructing.
Every. Single. Time. When i start to teach a unit, i have fear. If it was a demon, she’d be bored by now, knowing i was just going to blaze through it and teach anyway. It’s just a bodily response to stimulus.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
