Gays want to ascribe their guilt and shame to repression of society, but I don't really know of many places where anyone is shamed for being gay in this day and age.

Living with my depression for many years now, I shame gay people for having something I don't. By shaming their gayness, it makes me feel artificially more gay inside until I realize truly what a loser I am. If only gayness would rid my soul of depression.

This fella couldn't project more if he'd invented 3D holography that made the IMAX format obsolete; telegraphing the fact with peacock feathers, rainbow flags and neon signs saying 'Coo-ee ducky! Vada my dolly old eek! I'm up for some mano-a-mano action!' whilst carrying a whole load of artworks by Tom of Finland. And as for his very name , I mean... 'Roger'?! No amount of stealth material can hide you from the most advanced Gaydar made by Gaytheon, dear! X3
...oh, and geographically illiterate, much? Homosexuality was legalised here in the UK in 1967. Deal with it.
@Osiris
"At any Southern Baptist Church perhaps?"

What colour is the sky in your dimension, 'Roger'?
Russia and Uganda immediately pops into my mind. Whatever county Matthew Shepard was murdered in also flares up.
Gays ought not to have any "guilt and shame", asshole!
In Malmö, Sweden, some people were attacked by Nazis on their way home from a celebration of the International Women's Day on late Saturday/early Sunday. The spark that "ignited" the Nazis might have been two women kissing. Several people ended up in hospital with knife wounds, and for one it was at first doubtful whether he would survive or not. But he's stable now. The media is calling it a fight between extremists
(Since when is it extreme to fight for equal rights?)
I'd say that it's hard to find many places where you're guaranteed to be free from "shaming for being gay", in this day and age, sadly.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
