Not a theocracy, just a Ten Commandments commentary on ethics to properly balance interpretation of Law. Today they write new Laws using wide of the mark interpretations of the Law.

First, which version of the Big 10 are you referring to? And which bible version? Or, are you going old, old school and using the Torah?
Second, please show me the law about covetousness.
Not a theocracy, just a society built on a list where half the rules apply to a specific religion. Only two of the Big Ten can be codified in law, possibly three if you can agree on a definition of adultery. You folks have no problem lying if it suits your agenda, and coveting is a thoughtcrime.
Then tell me Davey, why does First Commandment the 10 Commandments (both sets) are in direct conflict with The First Amendment?
Also, how many people boil their kid goats in their mother's milk anymore?

Sounds like a quote from Planet of the Apes.
If the Big Ten doesn't cover speeding or parking in a loading zone, do I have to pay the ticket? How about Ponzi schemes? Gambling? Foreclosure? Water rights? Noise? Gee, what were we thinking when we wrote entire law libraries?
Capital-L Law would appear to be your ten commandments stuff, in your mind. Remember, if that's your guideline, there is no prohibition against same-sex marriage, for one. We will have to throw out the first three because of that "freedom of religion" thing. And most of the rest regard "coveting", so that leaves us pretty darn short of law for most situations. God failed to mention taxes or speed limits, or how we pay for the fire department, or whether liquor stores are regulated at all, or drug dealers, for that matter.
1 Timothy 5:23: 'Take a little wine for thy stomach's sake, and often infirmities
Prohibition was once an amendment in the US Constitution. The same document that is the very basis of your country: it doesn't mention the words 'God', 'Jesus', 'Creator', or 'Marriage'.
Not seeing 'Thou shalt not be Nissed As A Pewt, Elephant's Trunk & Mozart, Sozzled, Jober as a Sudge, Hammered' (or Mjolnir -ed if you're an Odinist!), Blasted, Annihilated, Blootered, Tired and Emotional (You're fired. Ed ) etc in the 10 Commandments.
And 'Thou shalt not marry someone of the same gender' is curiously conspicuous by it's absence in those 10 as well.
As is word one on the same subject by your J-boy (who is also God, natch).
Y'know which countries have the death sentence for homosexuality, Dave? Saudi Arabia & Iran (also those areas controlled by ISIS).
Theocracies.

THAT'S A THEOCRACY, YOU KNUCKLE-DRAGGING MOUTHBREATHER!
Argh, stab his eyes.
That would lead to a theocracy, and the ten commandments do not come close to forming a just code of law. Taking the Lord's name in vain is a key rule of the commandments, yet rape isn't. I guess you'd argue that rape is applied through one of the other commandments, like thou shalt not steal, but this misses the point about why rape is bad, it's ambiguous, and the commandments don't set forth punishments of differing magnitudes for certain crimes. Rape is more severe than theft, therefore its consequences should be stricter.
Confused?
