@JohnTheAtheist: Some people do. You can have a good marriage without necessarily having a good sex life. Besides, neither of them have to un-learn sex habits that worked for other partners, but not for their spouse.
However, that doesn't mean premarital sex is a bad idea in all cases. Both premarital sex and abstinence have their pros and cons. My problem is the people who feel like because they're abstaining, everyone else has to do it too.

There are a lot of 14 year olds "getting laid" and getting incurable std's sad to say. So, what will their gift be to their eventual spouse? IDK, herpes, hpv, hiv, syphillis? Pick an STD any STD. People apparently loathe Christians so much that they also want to throw out good morals and values. Ew, don't do that good thing...like er...protect yourself and your future spouse, people might think you actually have morals! :gasp: Even worse, they might even think you're a Christian!
And depending on how stupid you are, sex after marriage is theft. You're creating a life-form that doesn't have an ice cube's chance in Hell of being intelligent that will steal precious resources from more worthy children.

Its that simple eh?,well what if the girl I was having sex with was my intended?And then, what if she dumped me,and the girl I would eventually marry was at that time having sex with the guy SHE thought she was going to marry??Yeah,and what if ,in between myself and the guy she was going to marry,she went out with some other guy,that she fully intended to marry,and all the while,I,who of course am not aware that I'm eventually going to be married to her,find myself a perfectly viable candidate for a wife,who,of course I'm having sex with,but as it turns, out I cant stand her,because she has control issues,and I dump her,all the while waiting(of course I dont know that I'm waiting,because,well,I dont even know her yet),and she gets dumped by the guy she's been sleeping with,because he's two timing bastard,and he cant handle the fact that she had a kid from a previous marriage,which I dont have a problem with because her kid is great(Of course I dont know this yet because i ,you know,have no idea who she even is yet)so,as you can plainly see,after all of this, your a fucking idiot.
@DerShnauterstein: There are also plenty of kids who don't have sex and don't get STDs. I'm 18 and *kergasp* I'm still a virgin. I also think that this is complete bullcrap. I'm just waiting for the guy that I know will respect me, even once we've had sex. Good luck finding that in high school.
And as for not respecting Christians, that's just bullshit. I, and I'm sure many others here, have the utmost respect for most Christians. It's the fundies we have issues with. The ones who think that just because I don't believe in Christ, I have no morals or deserve to die or be tortured for eternity. Calm down.

Oh nice! Way to broaden definitions. It's interesting how often this happens. When something isn't covered by the 10 commandments, but christians want to disapprove of it anyway. Anything sexual becomes adultery, whether you're married or not.
Adultery is having sex with a person other than their spouse. Well, not sure if it'd count if it's a poly relationship, though. But still, it is NOT adultery. I would never commit adultery, but I want to have sex before marriage. The former is wrong, the latter is not.
