Satan tempts people to sin.
...and the omnipotent God just helplessly sits there to watch.
Satan promotes secular humanism as the answer. Jesus proclaims the Gospel message of forgiveness through His cross.
Every legend, pertaining to Jesus' personality, suggests that he was a secular humanist. He was (as the mythology goes) kind and helpful towards all people, regardless of their race, age, gender, faith, nationality, etc. Which is the very basis for secular humanism.
On the other hand, if one looks at the less than wholesome record of the noble custodians of the "Gospel message of forgiveness", which, for the past several centuries have been responsible for everything from war, torture, mass-slaughter, genocide, disease (Africa, AIDS, Church, condoms, google it), to the abuse of the rights of the most vulnerable members of society (women, children, various minorities), it becomes obvious who they truly serve.
Satan says that science can be your "savior." Jesus is actually the Lord of science, history, and eternity.
So Satan says you can be saved by something that Jesus is the lord of? Aren't these guys suppose to be on the opposite teams? Shouldn't Satan technically say, "stay away from science, it will destroy you!" or something?
Satan lost. Jesus won.
Then why is there still an argument?
And you will either win or lose as well.
That's what you think, I'm playing for a draw.
