I think you're avoiding backing your obvious ignorant claims.

Your Atheism was most likely sparked in College...stressed from HighSchool life because of the obvious rejection. You love to teach, but you only do so for the sake of purpose and that was the best alternative at the time for a college education to give. Your smoking, though not too much festered in you early to calm the storm of stress from school life and other such things. The smile you posess is only a fragment to cover up the pain and anguish of the rejection from not only your peers, but your family as well.

You're still single because you have this unhealthy bias towards men, due to jealously and that scar of rejection. The beauty of intelligence inside of you has been willfully limited so as not to have high expectations and be shot down.

In many instances you love to speak to friends, but gather few from your uneasiness around others and the inability to trust.

All these add up to your rejection of a loving God, because from the absence of love within your own life you deem it to be impossible.

I had lover Quaker parents who put me through only private schools out of a desire to see me recieve the best education possible.
However at the Junior High level the only local private school was a Christian academy. Having recieved such a high-quality education prior to attending this school I was perhaps already immunized against it, as they taught us nothing but doctrine. The same person taught science, math and spanish, while knowing next to nothing about all three. The staff was a handful of people, as you might have guessed, all determined to exploit their positions of power to impart their personal beliefs onto children. This meant that in science class, we were shown anti-evolution pamphlets and videos. All the time. Every class. We didn't cover anything other than how to argue against "evolutionists". Other classes were similarly tainted, as the Spanish class was geared towards preparing us for missionary work and the math class often cited the proportions and clockwork operation of the universe as evidence of God (something rarely argued since the 17th century) Every month these lessons culminated in trips to buddhist temples, biology lectures, Mormon temples, Jewish temples and Islamic mosques. After each one the teachers told us the ywould give us some "proper Christian context" for what we had seen. This essentially meant putting a Christian slant on it and explaininh exactly how they were all mistaken and hellbound. I came out of it cynical, but not yet convinced that they represented Christianity until I attended a second religious school at the highschool level that was not overtly Christian, but Christian dominated. There I got more of the same, but from the students rather than the faculty. This was, again, a completely different school. You may claim that I hold a stereotype of Christians. I would counter that a stereotype is not by definition false, merely not descriptive of EVERY member of a group, just most. That, coupled with attending a number of astronomy and biology lectures with my father (A Quaker, but also a computer engineer) cemented atheism in my mind. As much as they would have you believe otherwise, it is experience and knowledge that lead one to atheism, not some form of indoctrination.

I don't know. I single them out lately.
You see I have to deal with them on the way to school every day. I pass by the city square and there are at any given time upwards of six or seven Christian ramblers preaching at anyone who will listen. Usually it's anti-islamic rhetoric (no objections. Two birds, one stone) but other times they'll be ranting about liberals, homosexuality and atheism. I usually take vids with my cameraphone and put 'em on my blog for people who don't believe that such things happen in Portland, but sometimes I just stop and harrass them. They might say "Hey, it's my constitutional right to free speech" to which I retort "And it's my right under the same constitution to stand here and ridicule you for as long as I like". And I do. And they leave. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Um, before high school, actually.

I had stress in high school, but i lost faith in the Church well before that.

Never went to college. High school, Navy, Military contractor.

Never smoked. Another swing and a miss.

I don’t smile that much, i seem to have inherited dad’s resting asshole face. But I am happy. Close to family. And accepted by my peers.

Nope. I left the first church because everyone around me used God as a revenge fantasy. Everyone that they disagreed with politically, religiously, sexually, etc. their eyes glazed over as they described the torment their enemies all faced. And they couldn’t explain shit about the God i still believed in.
Went looking for the church witht he trut handle on God. Nevre found on e that was not pretty much the same.
Eventually realized i’d lost all faith.
