[discussion on Iranian scientists claiming the Holocaust was "exaggerated"]
I tend to agree with it being exagerated, but it did happen, and happened because worldwide jewry turned away from God.
"With all due respect to those dear people, my friend, God Almighty does not hear the prayer of a Jew."
-Reverend Bailey Smith
"They are the two groups in the world, children of God - those who have received Christ (John 1:12), and the children of the devil - those who reject Christ (John 8:44)."

Ok ... and now be a real man and go to a nice citysquare somewhere in Germany and please repeat the garbage you just uttered in a loud and clear voice.
Given the total lack of compasion with your fellow human any god with only a little shred of dignity would fry your ass so long in hell that not even a tiny crisp will be left over, and he would do it ever so slowly too.
TBB, in saying what you say, you are washing your hands in the the blood of innocents, in cluding unborn children that are so dear to Right Wing Fundamentalist Christians.
The so-called Reverend Smith, if he said such a thing is a butcher and undeserving of anyone's reveencing.
In fact, this submission is a farrago of hypocrisy that is about as far from good and God-commanded love as it could be. It is far closer to Evil and the Christians' Author of all Evil. For Shame!
Weren't the Jews your god's chosen people? Wasn't Jerusalem his chosen nation? Wasn't Jesus a Jew? And, since Jesus was god on earth, that would make god a Jew, too.
If your god doesn't hear their prayers, then your bible is nothing but a lie.
The "Reverend" Smith is a Southern Baptist, and I remember when that douchebag said that. It was 1980, and he was then head of the Southern Baptist Convention. I am rather impressed that this idiot could reach back 28 years and find some hate; then again, reaching back to Deutschland in the '30s is easy too.
this twat's self-righeousness sickens me to the stomach.
They claim to own the herafter, but don't give us a break by leaving us to our damnation
"They are the two groups in the world, children of God - those who have received Christ (John 1:12), and the children of the devil - those who reject Christ (John 8:44)."
And those who have just never happened to hear about Christ, who will be damned for all eternity for daring to have bad luck in where they were born.
So, God had Catholics, gypsies, atheists, Christians who helped the Jews, and mentally ill and/or handicapped persons, not to mention hundreds of thousands of soldiers on all sides, and millions of civillians killed because the Jews had turned away from him? Doesn't your omnipotent, omniscient, good and loving God possess any finer tools for weeding out the "bad people?"
So not only is this guy a Holocaust denier, but he's glad the Holocaust happened. He's trying to have his cake and eat it too- but he made sure the cake wasn't made by Jews, because they bake with the blood of Christian children, after all.
@Papabear: Don't forget homosexuals. Of course, this loser would probably say that they deserved it, too, because they "turned away from God" by 'choosing' to be homosexual.

To be fair, at the time the war was being fought, most of the Allies hadn't a clue as to the extent of the Nazi's anti-Jewish pogroms. We were fighting because Hitler was trying to take over the entire freakin' world.
Yes. The Holocaust did happen because they turned away from "God". Of course, "God" Himself was the not the reason for bringing about their deaths, but rather, self-righteous Christians like yourself, doing what they knew so obviously to be "God"'s will. Have fun with that.
Just go back in time 65 years in, say, Aushwitz, Treblinka or Bergen-Belsen, then say that with a straight face in Jerusalem.
Or, alternately, STFU.
TBB is angling to be the New Bevets, I think. Except that where Bevets at least knows he has nothing good to say and talks almost entirely in quote-mine, TBB just blabs whatever pops into his head. Truly one of Fark's more obnoxious trolls right now.
The holocaust was not exaggerated, it was estimated. Because nobody kept records. The best they could do was look at the prior and post census of the countries involved and make a very well thought out and mathematically correct guess.
The figure is a minimum of 5.1 million and a maximum of 6 million killed. 6 may be an exaggeration, and 5.1 may be an understatement. Anything outside of that band is simply incorrect.
Nazi disinformation, pseudohistory and propaganda to demonize a people, like blood libel, are concrete things you can trace the crimes against humanity to. That was not divine or godly. Bullshit, nazi.
Confused?
