(=On mistranslations, alterations or errors of the Bible over the centuries=)
Alan Minchin: I return again to a previous question. Are you claiming that there has been a massive fraud in the scholarship behind the production of today's modern translations?
Reverend William H. Carey: Sorry, but your denials carry no weight. The evidence for deliberate scriptural tampering is overwhelming and irrefutable, and any honest Hebrew and Greek scholar will acknowledge it. (And first year student of the languages could spot the errors without difficulty.)
I notice you didn't bother to try to defend your claims about sodomites. Very wise. But you also didn't address the clear errors in Deut. 6:4 in most versions, and Col. 1:19 in about half of all versions.
Alan Minchin: Oh dear. "Yes, obviously, there has been a conspiracy over the past four centuries to pervert the message of the Bible". Your statement can be seen as clearly nonsensical, even paranoic, when rationally seen against the large numbers of biblical scholars (of many traditions) who have been involved, over many decades, in bringing to us today's English language translations.
