Running scared, aren't we Brother Randy? Jesus doesn't like his followers to "hide their light under the basket". First sign of a cult, isolate person from people and friends who disagree with the cult-leader. They must have no friends outside of the leaders control.

The equal yoking thing refers to marriage, not friendship. And even then it's twitchy, because dude, we're not oxen. It was just a parable--a METAPHOR--not a commandment.

That "unequally yoked" passage has to be one of the Bible's most horrifically misused and misunderstood passages. It drives me insane when people use it out of context to oppose things it was never intended to oppose, and Bro. Randy-4-Teens is a fine example of ripping it 10,000km out of context!

So much better to huddle on the internet with somebody who may or maynot be who they say they are. Someone who tells you how to dress, behave, talk, what to read, what to watch and who to talk to. It's like you don't even realize that you are a cult leader, its not just a matter of following your cult leader manual, you've actually become that leader, and it's frightening.
Bro. Randy is not a cult leader. It´s just a mistaken idiot who makes a fool of himself. I find now understandable his ignorance of other religions, Catholics and Muslims above all. If they don´t befriend "unbelievers", they don´t know how they really behave and hence all the kibosh such as "Catholics are not Christians" or his "version" of Darfur.

Odd, this goes more or less against Christian doctrine, in fact, back when I was an evangelical christian, I remember being ENCOURAGED by my youth pastor to make non-Christian friends in order to convert them.
