Obama shouldn't have killed OBL
It was pure red meat for the testosterone poisoned. It had no other significance; OBL was not a threat.
This is why the patriarchal state cannot be allowed to have "secrets". It will always use them to commit crimes and atrocities.

But if he had the chance to kill Osama and didn't, then all the "Obama is a Muslim!" nuts would be claiming that he deliberately didn't kill a Muslim enemy of the United States because they're allies.
And if you think it was an atrocity to kill OBL, then fuck you.
Er, you can't be talking about Osama Bin Laden, because that fucker was totally plotting shit from his abottabad compound.
And "not a threat" is about as relevant as saying his hair is grayer now; even if it was true, HE STILL COMMITTED CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY. Or were you unaware of the 9/11 attacks?
Well, from an ethical point of view I have to agree that assassinating Bin Laden was wrong, and that bypassing the judicial process, even against a mass murderer, diminishes a society. Launching a secret raid on the soil of an allied country is problematic, too, and dumping Bin Laden's corpse at sea will probably provide conspiracy theorists with much fodder.
That said, bringing him back alive to stand trial would probably have caused quite a few practical/political/diplomatic/whatever problems of its own. For example, some of his terrorist buddies may well have tried to rescue him or launched a campaign of attacks and hostage-taking to force the US to release him.
As for that "patriarcal government" line, I'm pretty sure that a matriarcal government wouldn't have acted very differently.
Pretty sure this is a feminist fundie, not a right wing fundie.
"Testosterone poisoned" and "patriarchial state."
Essentially someone who feels oppressed by the mere existence of men.
Also, fuck OBL.
"Not a threat"? OBL, as you call him, was a freaking terrorist leader! He was a threat!
Gee, I guess some people are just determined to hate Obama solely for the sake of hating Obama.
"OBL was not a threat"

Ah, such is the right-wing fundie: always so granite-solid in their convictions. [/hyper-sarcasm]
...or simply mad that teh ebil darkie succeeded in just three years, where your poster boy of the Religious Reich FAILed in eight ?
This is why right-wing fundies shouldn't be allowed to be hypocrites. I wouldn't lose any sleep, if double standards exhibited by anyone of the Religious Reich became a capital offence.
OBL was not a threat.
But all those "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq were, I suppose?
Why live in reality when you have your fantasy, right?
Without context, I cannot say that this is fundie - although the conflating of 'Obama is the commander-in-chief of the military force that authorized the strike team to go in' and 'Obama killed' is problematic.
Bin Laden organized and ordered the killings of thousands, but once he had been removed from a position where he could do similar things, it is an understandable opinion that it was not necessary to shoot him. He was an old man in a bathrobe. It certainly wasn't necessary for people to do a victory dance outside the White House (that was seriously creepy to see).
For people thinking this person is right wing, think again. Daily Kos is a political website that supports Democrats. But it does have some users who criticize Obama and dislike him for only being slightly to the left and complain that he's not being LEFT enough. People who complain that he's still too much like Bush. That's where this complaint comes from. This is not a Bush supporter as some have suggested.
Pretty sure this is a feminist fundie, not a right wing fundie.
"Testosterone poisoned" and "patriarchal state."
Essentially someone who feels oppressed by the mere existence of men.
...but complains when somebody decreases the number of men in existence.
Some people are so hard to please...
And atana here proves that people will find any excuse at all to hate Obama.
Personally, I do believe that it is generally important to maintain judicial standards, but in the one unique case of bin Laden, I think it was OK to bend the law in bringing this particular figure to justice. Which is not to say I support Obama taking similar steps against terrorist threats who are also US citizens, but that's a debate for another day.
@surprisingly not tumblr:
Look through our archives. We've got all kinds of crazy. Republicans, Christians, Jews, Muslims, atheists, male AND female sexists, racists (of and hating every race you can imagine), and even a freaking Buddhist (at least once). True, most quotes are from conservative Republicans, but that's because there are a freaking ton of idiots in that group.
@suprisingly not tumblr
We all know not all of the crazies are republican but they sure as hell make up a large percentage of them.
This site has posted comments from crazy lefties many time. Anti-vaxx, anti-gmo, radfems, etc.
The difference between the crazies on the right and the crazies on the left is how far they are able to reach into the mainstream. Mainstream democrats do a fairly good job of marginalizing and keeping in check their crazies while the republicans elect them and nominate them to head committees.
While it would have been better to take him alive, try and convict and then execute him, that's not always possible and with a death toll of around three thousand, OBL more than deserved killing.
While I agree with the statement*, the reasoning behind it is desperately moronic.
OBL was a terrorist, therefor a criminal not an "enemy combatant". An enemy combatant is somebody from a military organisation, either in a classic state-state or in a civil war.
But it's weird, on the one hand they aren't criminals, so you can kill them in "action", on the other hand, you can't call them soldiers because that would mean they'd have rights according to the Geneva convention or in easier terms "bugga bugga we're american'; none of you law apply to us; 'cause we can make boooom boooom with you".
*Well, not all of it, OBL definitely was a threat. More for Afghans and Pakistanis though.
Confused?
