As an atheist, apparently 'science' is my god. So, let's go through that list...

1)Healed you of any deceases? Check. Yay for medication, medical technology, surgical methods, and all the other medical advances science has given us.

2)Made you feel good when talking to them? It's a bit hard to talk to an abstract concept (just as hard as talking to an imaginary god, in fact!), but I certainly feel good while talking about science.

3)Has it or they ever helped you or comfort you? Check. Knowledge is comforting, at least to me.

4) do you have some laws that are also the 10 commandments? The laws of physics are the only absolutes, and the only laws everyone MUST obey.

5) did the god you live for die for you? Now, why would I want someone to die for me? In any case, there have been people who died fighting for the freedom to practice scientific research, and those who died while performing that research.

6) Is their a place like heaven in your belief? Nope, but there isn't a hell either, so it kinda balances out.

7) Does your belief promise ever lasting life? Nope, but again, it doesn't threaten me with everlasting torture either.

It's really damn annoying when Theists misunderstand the idea of believing in God. Some of them might think that "God" would actually mean any kind of thing that a person commits their life to, and that religion would be an absolute, 100% requirement for everyone in order to life. What a load of bullshit.

Here are examples of what I mean:

"You don't believe in jesus, so you just worship Darwin instead."
"You deny all religions, so you have made science into your belief system."
"You claim that the Bible is contradictory, but the claims you read from science books keep changing from time to time."

These arguments don’t need to be debunked, because this guy contradicts himself in the first two sentences.

Oh well, I might as well answer all of the twelve questions with one sentence: No, but if your religion is an exception to that, it still doesn’t mean it’s correct.
