(When asked if it is reasonable to ask others not to impose their religious beliefs on other people.)
It's not reasonable to ask Christians that. We are called to go out into the world and deliver Christ's message. It is unreasonable to ask us not to do what our God has instructed us to do.
It IS, however, reasonable to ask athiests, buddhists, and others not to preach their beliefs, because their beliefs are not important to the world.

Rather than bang my own head against a wall in frustration, I'd like to bang Soldier's head against a wall. It's not like the brain damage could get any worse, and it just might knock some sense into him.

Reasonable to whom???
You know, if people read the bible like they read Plato, and accept that there's some nuggets nestled in crap, all these little misundertandings would just go away.
I was going "eh" until the last line. Now I'm pissed. Why the hell is what you believe have any more worth than what I believe? So you believe you are correct? I believe I am correct too, so if we could just leave each other alone and believe what we want, we could all be much happier!!!
He does'nt realise that other religions, could use his own arguments against him...?
For example...
"It's not reasonable to ask (Insert name of deity or religion here) that. We are called out into the world & deliver (Insert name of deity or god here)'s message.
It's unreasonable not to ask us not to do what our God(s) has instructed us to do...
It IS however reasonable to ask (insert name of rival religion or religions here) not to preach their beliefs, because their beliefs are not important to the world (in our oponion)...".
FIXED...
yes, called to spread the word by living a life that is righteous- you know the love thy neighbor and turn the other cheek.
Not yelling down other religions and their believers
Preach to me and I will ignore you.
Engage me and I will most likely humiliate you, because experience has taught me that your lot knows next to nothing about history, science or the bible you love to thump.
Pray for me and I will laugh at you.
Try to change the laws of my country to suit your narrow, self-serving definition of your god's will, ah, then we have a problem.

It's not reasonable to ask Christians that.”
Well, the secular nature of the nation, and a number of SCOTUS decisions say if one religion can do it, all religions can do it.
"We are called to go out into the world and deliver Christ's message.”
But you ARE the people constantly bitching about the gay agenda being ‘shoved down our throats,’ right? So, gander sause is goose-appropriate sauce.
"It is unreasonable to ask us not to do what our God has instructed us to do.”
I don’t believe your god exists, much less commands you to do anything. It certainly doesn’t command ME to listen to your shit.
“It IS, however, reasonable to ask athiests, buddhists, and others not to preach their beliefs, because their beliefs are not important to the world.”
Nothing about the first amendment only protects important words.
Confused?
