When you can point out the words 'God', 'Jesus' and 'Creator' in the US Constitution, get back to us, Sparky.
If Church and State are supposed to be indivisible, then those words - and others besides - would've been thrown around like confetti when that document was being drawn up would they not?
...and 'Separation of church and state is doggerel from a letter by Jefferson and has no more the force of law than the inane scribblings of a Jew British subject from the 19th century', you say? Careful.
If not for the Jewish Haym Solomon, you wouldn't even have a country to have the very rights you enjoy today. For it was he who financed your War of Independence. Otherwise, we'd still have a British Empire* and you would be singing "God Save The Queen" today.
...and it was an Englishman who composed the music to "The Star Spangled Banner", so stick that in your phylacteric and smoke it.
*- Want to imagine if "The Man in the High Castle" was rather different? I refer you to the anime series "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion".
In that 'Alternate Reality' scenario, just as "The Man in the High Castle" positing the notion that the Axis powers had won WWII, Hitler had never existed, the Russian Revolution - and thus the Cold War - had never happened, and the War of Independence was won by the British, thus the US was part of the Britannian Empire, ruled by the immortal Charles zi Britannia: who had a weapon that could destroy God.
...not exactly spacebattles, but as "Code Geass" was made by Sunrise: the creators of "Gundam", there's plenty of mecha battles for you to drool over, little boy. [/Doug Piranha-levels of sarcasm]
I refer you - and Hillbilly12 - to what Mandolin pointed out on the previous page in that thread.
