1. Naturalism is not a religion.
"Universality is the quality ascribed to an entity whose existence is consistent throughout the universe. In philosophy, universalism is a doctrine or school in which it is claimed that universal facts can be discovered and which is understood then as being in opposition to relativism."
In other words, if it doesn't adhere to universalism and naturalism, it probably isn't science.
Or, Science is the study of what is to understand reality.
His "problem" is that scientific journals refuse speculation based papers that carry no studies from any of the recognized sciences. Specifically denying any supernatural forces or plans as they're all unproven fiction.
You guys actually find that ark, let qualified experts study and document it, then you'll finally have one thing. We're not publishing Wyatt or Hovinds's bullshit about a rock formation on Mount Ararat.
This is an issue with Fundies because they've been told this is predudice towards religion and that religion should be allowed to promote (Wedge) their beliefs everywhere without excemption.
The movie "expelled" was part of this Wedge stragedy, it convinced the fundies who already think Science, Politics, Education and the military should all be governed by the church and accept all their beliefs as fact.
