Facts dont lie, people, Peter is exactly right ---just because you dont like it doesnt make it untrue. If women would stay at home and make their family #1 our jails would be less crowded, divorce rate would be lower, and the employment rate would be higher. Get mad ---Curse---scream in rage, but its the truth ----suck it up and get over it. Womens lib is the worst thing that has ever happened to this country.

Betsy is a self-loathing child of a fundie background that has severely fucked her up. She has erroneously pinned all of the country/world's ills on the very thing that should give her some self-worth. Instead, this twisted world-view has turned her into Stockholm Betsy, driving more girls towards a pathetic and self-hating life.

The employment rate would be higher, because people not looking for work aren't included in the unemployment rate. If every woman were a housewife, no woman would be considered unemployed, thus increasing the employment rate. The overall work force would decrease considerably, but the unemployment rate would also drop.
Women stayed at home at St Thomas Moore's time, and he complained that the jails were full for many reasons. Second, half of the criminals were so because of abusive fathers, can you explain that?. Besides, employment rate would be higher, of course!, get rid of half the potential working population, and see what happens.
If we outlawed no-fault divorces, and forced estranged couples to resort to making up non-existent adulterous affairs and lying about them on the witness stand like they did in the 1950s, then the divorce rate would be lower too.
It's the 21st century. Get mad, curse, scream in rage, but it's the truth. Suck it up and get over it.

Where in the US are there more stay at home moms? The Bible belt, perhaps? Where are there higher divorce rates? Lots of people here say The Bible belt, I don't know myself. The employment rate can't be higher if half the population ends their employment, it must be lower.
Here in Sweden very, very few are stay at home wifes. I've checked lots of sites and it seems like we have about the same divorce rates as the US, some say higher, some say lower, depending on how you count. The US of A have 686 out of 100 000 people in jail, we have 68. Guess the womens lib did this country good. For, as you say, dear betsy, facts don't lie.
