And how many times has it been struck by lightning before that?
If it were something non-conductive that had never been hit by lightning, and indeed would never be expected to be hit by lightning, and it happened on the same day the Pope put in his walking papers I might be impressed.

Meteors hit the Earth daily. Asteroids fly by us all the time, that's why it's called a "cosmic shooting gallery".

You people keep making this claim, though I see nothing to substantiate it.
