I don't know if this statistic is true (does anybody have a more reliable source on the subject?), but if your main argument against homosexuality is that your deity is going to directly impose pain on those who engage in it, doesn't that shoot your "Jesus is benevolent" claim in the foot?

Ruptured Retards has a list of 'untrustworthy' news sources that are to be avoided. Now, I don't know about how many there feel about Faux News (especially Karl Rove getting it soooooo wrong on the night of the real Apocalypse in late 2012), post-elections, but they used to all but take whatever was said there as Holy Writ.
On that list of 'untrustworthy' news sources is the UK tabloid newspaper "The Sun".
Faux News is part of Fox TV, which - along with 20th Century Fox - is a subsidiary of News International, owned by Rupert Murdoch. It is therefore of the most supreme irony that RR (then) considered Faux News 'trustworthy', but not "The Sun"; the latter being another major part of News International.
But such is right-wing hypocrisy, I guess. As per McCain & Romney, in time they'll be considering Dumbya to be a 'RINO'...!

I can think of a lot of reasons for not eating at Burger King, but their acceptance of gay customers isn't one of them. The last time I went to a Burger King, it was to use their rest room, and feeling somewhat guilty, I bought a burger. I took one bite and gave the rest to my Chesapeake. He liked it - but then again, he'd eat a road-kill squirrel if I let him ...
