The average European probably takes for granted that he or she is at the top of the world. They don’t mind if others get a taste of the “table” too. If you see sharing your surplus with others as “used and abused”, that’s your prerogative.

It’s just my guess, but I’d say that polygamy is more common in societies where marriage means security, somewhere to live. In societies where marriage is more optional, more about mutual love and affection, polygamy is less common.
Psychopathy has to do with disregarding others as human beings. It has little or nothing to do with marriage practices.
European whites tend to be the richest on average, most able to afford helping others.
Have you delivered food in a Northern European neighborhood? We don’t tip well, as we expect companies to pay their workers a decent wage. Sure, for extra service, we can tip, as a thank you. But otherwise, the salary should be part of the price of the meal, in our view.
When the refugee crisis hit Europe in 2015, at first there were altruism, abound. Then, country after country after country closed their borders, stating "we must take care of our own first". What happened to the altruism then? Sweden took in the most, per capita. It was still pretty low, compared with countries like Lebanon, in which 25 percent of the population are refugees or immigrants. Is Lebanon a white community?
These are not instincts, they are learned habits.
Do you consider the ongoings in Hong Kong right now to be “docile and compliant”? Perhaps they are usually seen as compliant BECAUSE OF the strong-armed governments? But the Hong Kong-people, who’re used to being ruled by Great Britain, are fighting to keep their relative independence. Almost as if, again, they are learned habits…
