So explain this to me. He [God] can crush you or nurture you depending on whether you do what he says, and your answer is to say 'why should I?!?' like a petulant four-year-old asking why he should do what his parents say?
He's...God, dude. He created everything. Can you think of a reason why he shouldn't be big-headed?
These kinds of 'imagined' problems are all throughout the Bible, and they stem from people not knowing what the hell they're talking about. Add to that that no atheist will seriously listen to an apologist, and you have a recipe for some very self-confident and ignorant people who believe they know all there is to know about the Bible. No amount of argument can bring them around, because they do not wish to bring them around.
