I think these lyrics sum up Satan's plan pretty well. Wouldn't surprise me to find out these band members are demon possessed. Scary stuff, but we need to remember that we are already victorious because of what Christ did for us.
A woman down the street from me lost her husband a few years ago and I got to know her a bit during that time. She had attended our church for a while but she's way out there now with these false teachers. She's a bit off herself but is always cordial and nice.
Anyway, I hear from another neighbor that she's housing homless people in her basement. For a bit it was a man and a woman. Not sure who's there now. I did notice a car that looked like it was falling apart (and lived in) and a very dishelved woman leaning up against it smoking. Not to be rude but it caught my eye. I thought maybe she was a down and out cleaning lady.
Well, the thought of someone going out of their way to help the homeless and open up their doors to them is a good thing. BUT as mom of 3 little ones the thought of drifters living just a few houses down is concerning.
I feel bad assuming that these homeless people have criminal intents but I worry about it. Once in a blue moon is one thing but I worry we've got a halfway house situation here.
I was in class today and overheard some people I know talking about a show they went to, in which the band(I forget the name) encouraged hatred of Christians and spoke of 'eating Christians.' This got my blood boiling, but I remained silent. A 'friend' who I went to a Christian middle and high school with, but has sadly been greatly influenced by the sin of this world, relayed this information to someone he was sitting near. Knowing that I'm a Christian, he made sure to speak loud enough for me to hear about it and then made the comment, "If society permitted it, I would be glad to do that."
Even though it's sickening, isn't it ironic that these people who hold hatred against Christians are doing us the favor of fulfilling prophecy? And in the end, they'll be kneeling before the Lord that they hated so much.
Interesting you brought this up. Yes, I have felt like my family has been under attack for the past six months. We are all believers, my husband being a relatively new Christian (6yrs.) ...It is probably the hardest for him because of being a 'young' Christian. I just keep praying for God to give us wisdom, strength and help us keep our focus on Him because that can be so hard sometimes. Obviouslyl, Satan already has the non-believer and therefore is leaving them alone. It is the "believer" who he wants to capture so we can expect a lot of temptations, unfortunately. It is "a spiritual warfare" and we must all pray for each other!

Today's headlines certainly don't bode well for worldly security. Potential crisis after crisis seem to bubble up across the globe like boiling pots of oil.
I could not imagine what it would be like to watch this world unravel as it is without the peace and confidence that God is in control. Without trust in Him, it has got to be very frightening! How could one look at his or her children and have any confidence that they will grow up in a secure and safe milieu, something that has been taken for granted by most Americans for generations?
Yet, instead of accepting the truth and looking to God for comfort, many simply amplify their mantra: "global warming!" or "peace now!", still determined mankind will be able to design the solutions for all of todays problems.
How little and insignificant we are.
There are no sunspots because the Lord has simply calmed the sun for now.

We have known for 2-3 years now that hard economic times were coming. We knew that we would eventually leave this life, this house, this area and go to another area that God has been having us prepare. We were waiting for the "go" command to make all of that happen. We have gotten that.
We know that realistically we could not maintain our current debt load for the house, student loans, cars, etc. The cost of food and electricity/gas now consume a third of my takehome. We are squeezed past the breaking point. We feel that this is God's indication to us that the time to move is here.
We are packing our things. We have no home to move to, I have no job to go to. We are trusting him completely that if this is his direction he will provide what we need. It is hard to let everything go and trust him completely. It is easy to do when it is just my wife and I but we have 5 year old twins to worry about as well. I have to continually repress my need to "be the man" and take matters in my own hands to try to work them out. I'm too weak to do this without Jesus' making it happen.
Global warming is a lie from the pits of hell.
satan want man to beleive that mankind has caused all these blatant signs of the times.
This way, humans will not be alert to the signs that Jesus warned us about and thus will not be about the business of being ready.
Instead of these many catastrophes alerting us to His soon return, mankind will just start thinking "green" and focusing on saving the planet.
This planet will be mellt with fervent heat and God Himself will refurbish it.
Global warming is solely to take the focus off the fact that Jesus will soon return!
If the theory of global warming had not been advanced, mankind would be in awe trying to figure out what is happening. Then, the Bible could explain the

This stuff is not mere talk for the purpose of baiting us. A few years ago, there was a teenager in my town who was raised in a wonderful Christian home, was enormously blessed as a musician, and was very involved in Bible quizzing. Somehow she became infected with this lifestyle. The night before she stepped in front of a train, she was listening to a band called Dimmu Borgir. Old school, I know, but very dangerous. I don't understand why she did what she did, but her death was the catalyst that God used to call me into spiritual warfare on behalf of our kids.
Sign me up for the guillotine. I'd rather die and be with Jesus than risk those microchips being anywhere near me. One way tickets to Hell they are.

Is it possible that everything that has happened/is happening that relates to last days prophecy really be a clever trick by Satan in an attempt to fool believers? We all know that his greatest trick is to imitate the real thing, and what better way than to trick us into believing that our blessed hope was a lie and there is no god by having everything play out like in the Bible (as closely as he can anyway) only Jesus doesn't return?
I really don't think it would be possible, but was hoping for some comments.

I know a gay guy who goes to a Unitarian church. Why? Because they don't judge. It's as if he went to a real Christian church, he thinks he'll be run out of the place with torches and pitchforks.
I saw on the news that there are some 400 fires in Northern California. It's interesting that many of these fires were sparked by lightning around the time that gay marriages began. It's also interesting that these fires are only in the northern part of the state where the Capital and Supreme Court are that overturned the ban on gay marriage.
Mopsie, because they reject you, look at it as a badge of honor. The closer you walk with Jesus the more friends and family members (who are not like-minded) you will lose. This has happened to me. My very best friend told me she couldn't confide in me because she " either doesn't even know me, or, like who I have turned into." At first this cut deeply, but then the Lord had me read Jesus' words to His disciples where he told them people would hate them because of Jesus. I ended up taking her slam as a badge that I am on the right road.

I've mentioned this before, Jeffery Dahmer accepted Christ before being murdered in prison. I find that awsome. The despicable horrible crimes he committed were forgiven by the Lord and he was saved. That same day as he was ushered into heaven by the angels, others were thrown into hell who may have devoted their entire lives to charities, good works, etc. they did not need to be saved they thought, they were good enough. Nothing unclean can be in the presence of God. Only the blood of Christ can make it possible to be in His presence.
It's starting to get bad against those of us who are believers. On days that I do my major house cleaning I put on worship music and my daughter and I sing and dance as we are cleaning. Well, most of the time we get so into it that the volume gets turned up loud Everytime we do this I think to myself "Is today the day I get a knock at my door and get told that if I don't turn off my believer's music that I will be arrested?". This used to be a crazy thought now it's not Even sadder is the idea that the neighbors blasting their horrible rock music won't be bothered for a second by the law.

On a more somber note my father is 84 and suffering mini strokes and the onset of Alzheimer's, he cannot understand being born again and he thinks hes going to hell, I am going there this afternoon and try to minister to him.
It is a little scary and in todays world, well you never know. I was looking at apartments awhile back and I saw this really nice one, only one problem with it and I was going to put it on my maybe list when I saw a man and some women walking through the hall, well the women were all wearing burkas and face coverings. Thats when I started thinking, there is no way I can live here, what if they can hear my christian music in the hallway, or my teaching cds I listen to. In the world today, that is just asking for trouble. Not only could I be told that my music and cds were offensive, but due to their religion, I could be in a lot more trouble then that.

I can't imagine trying to be a good person for a lifetime , and at the end finding out it was a massive wasted effort and missing heaven. Yet that is probably what will happen to most people. The horrors of being a 'good' person. I'm glad I messed my life up when I was younger because I had no problem acknowledging my sinfulness. Only God could have put my life back together. I can honestly say that nothing good resides in me aside from Christ.

Don't even get me started on "Evil Pollution" ( evolution ) I will be glad the day that word is gone from our vocabularies! They state DNA replicates itself exactly everytime ( and it does, except for problems due to age or enviroment and then the cell dies due to deforming ) I have yet to figure out how these cells talk to the living things they are in so as to change perfectly to accomodate the conditions, if you know what I mean. For example an area is becoming more desert and the creature that is there needs more food storage due to lack of any. I guess the DNA talk to each other and it goes like this " hey GCAT!, yeah what? We need a food storage! Okay I tell you what I'll do I'll change the 5th ladder in the 12th gene so your body will have a storage area! Wow, great! Thanks! Yeah Evil Pollution is soooooo ridiculous the DNA will replicate no matter what for ever and a day and it has no way of knowing if thier is changes in itself and what the outcome would be of those changes. IT IS SOOOO BLASPHEMOUS TO SAY ANYTHING EVOLVED FROM NOTHING. JUST THE DNA AND RNA SHOW THEY HAD TO HAVE A CREATOR TO BE SOOO COMPLEX AS THEY ARE TO CONTINUE THE PROPAGATION OF THE SPECIES JUST LIKE THE CREATOR CREATED THEM AS FROM THE BEGINNING.

I'm sorry, but I just think our money's being swallowed up by a big, black hole here. These guys just want to find life on other planets so bad they can't stand it and I think it's so they can confirm their belief in no God. Maybe I'm wrong and there's useful things they're learning but I've never cared for the space program. Especially not one funded by tax dollars. Maybe I'm just a grump about this. Paul says in Phillipians not to complain about anything.
The X Files are interesting. The basis for these kinds of Movies et al. is the belief that there is life out there in space. The Christian perspective is that, yes, there is life out there, but it is not righteous or Godly, and the belief is that they are fallen angels (demons, devils, or whatever you wish to call them). The predominant message they put out is that of the New Age philosophy. It's the same old story. They want to decieve us and make us believe that they are ascended Masters or some sort of malarky to that extent.
You know, it's one thing to have a New Age book discussion, ok whatever, its a pile of lies... BUT.... When you start bringing the Bible into it and twisting the very Word of God to say something it outright DOESN'T and start using Scripture to add to your cause..... This just isn't right!! It infuriates me to no end.....

Just some food for thought here. Being born in the US doesn't necessarily make you "from" the US. What is his lineage? My lineage goes back to Italy. For that matter my lineage goes back to the Garden of Eden.
For example, when the Roman army invaded a country they recruited or drafted the male population of the conquered country into the Roman army. The Jews would never join the Roman army but their enemies would. So did Rome actually destroy the temple in 70AD or did Edom? Your lineage is who you really are. IMHO. Take it for what it's worth. I would have loved having him as a teacher when I was young, and I wouldn't mind him as a teacher for any of my kids. Obviously the burning was a scientific experiment, and he knew what he was doing, it obviouslly wasn't painful. The kids didnt seem to mind it, and probably thought it was cool. If he had burned a crescent or some kind of new age symbol he probably would still have a jod, IMHO.
I never really BATTLED with porn, but I did watch it in my younger days, and even briefly after I was married. Then I decided that it was no good and stopped watching it. Kind of cold turkey. I had "relapses" a couple of times a year, but that too has dwindled.

I hate to say it, but W scares me. After hearing some of the things he's said and seeing what he's done, I get the overwhelming feeling that he's a wolf in sheep's clothing. If folks really do their research on his behavior (i.e. globalism, dividing Israel, placing Allah in the same league as Jesus, etc., etc., etc...), then they will come to see that there's something rotten in the state of Denmark, so to speak. I cannot judge a man's heart, of course, but the blasphemy of equating our God with the gods of Islam et al is something no true born-again believer would do - and that's just the tip of the iceberg with GW.
I have already posted this on another thread but it needs to go here to. I worked with a homosexual 35 years ago. I tried to witness to him but he just kelp saying he had a home in heaven and what he was doing was not a sin.. He also said that the gays would take over and have more rights than others through the SCHOOLS AND CHURCHES. And their goal was to have homosexual marriages broadcast on the TV. Everyone just laughed at him (35 years ago) and said that would never happen. Well it has. People say they don,t recrute well he tried way back then. Days of Noah again indeed! People now say OH thats the way it is suspose to be before Jesus comes back. I agress. But I don't think we are to just let it happen
I seriously feel we are at the door right now of eternity! I mean I will even be surprised if He doesn't come by this weekend, I feel it is that close! It's a little scary because I keep wondering what will happen to our sweet loyal pets, not to metion loved ones that aren't saved!
It's hard for me to stay focused on anything because I constantly feel like we are at the end!
