I just read yesterday in a great book on rearing children, that if you never say NO to a child, eventually they will become a murderer, rapist or both. Children are not naturally nice. They are naturally needy and selfish. Children must be raised by their parents in a Godly household....

One of the smartest men I've ever met [clearly annointed!!!] is Dr. Kent Hovind. He holds a PhD and taught high school science for almost 30 years. Now he goes around the world debating Creationism vs evolution for the Lord.

He has more proof for Creation and the plausibility of the literal 6-day creation than anyone I've ever heard...........and he knows it's from God. I wouldn't be saved without him. I'm one of those nerdy types who always needs to know why and how. This man had more fact to back up his argument that I found myself on my knees in tears as an atheist one night, KNOWING that God really IS true, and better yet, He loves me, warts and all.

I really 'feel' a strong sense of being rapture ready, not mild, I look around the world and feel totally unconnected to the way of this world, and inside feel a sensation of being prepared for the rapture... often I sense a 'slience' in heaven as if all that is happening down here is like a clock ticking, it's as if the world is on the path to oblvion and they 'haven't got a clue'...

Athesist are to be pitied. They are so clueless that it boggles the mind. I can not wait to see them all bowing and declaring Jesus is Lord. What a day that will be. I just pray that I will have a compassionate heart because I do picture myself standing up and saying 'Ha in your face, told you He was real.'

I was involved deeply in witchcraft and the occult before turning to Christ, and have cast spells on people. Did they work? The people did get sick, but they weren't Christians and didn't know Christ. They were open. An empty vessel waiting to be filled. If someone is sending demons against these ladies, and they are true believers, they have nothing to fear..as long as they stand on the power of Christ and rebuff it. I truly believe that the devil can only get to us if we allow him to. We don't have to stand idly by and let it happen. Rebuke/resist the devil and he will flee from you. Pray, give thanks to the Lord...this is how we fight back. Make no mistake....we are at war here, and they need to fight back.

In 1996 we were expecting our now 12 year old. To me it was no secret that paganism and the occult were deeply wrapped up in children's toys, music, tv, comics, cartoons, and movies. As a result of my long time Biblical and outside research I wrote a letter to all family members that instructed them on the limits of gifts, celebrations, activities, and possessions that would be allowed. It was rather extensive and obviously stepped on their toes; especially in areas such as Santa, Halloween, The Easter Bunny, and very popular movies/cartoons/toys.

Over the years I've flexed just enough to allow Star Wars (but only after he was at an age to still enjoy the good guys versus the bad guys while being trained that Zen Buddhism and the host of other anti-biblical themes were wrong and off limits) and a very limited few other things. Even Batman/Superman has so much of the occult that it is largely off limits. Virtually all Disney movies of the past 15 or so years are steeped in the occult and false religion. And our beloved cartoon viewing is down to just a very few left (we don't get Boomerang).

But the good news is that he is fully aware, growing in the same discernment I have, and very understanding and accepting of the awesome responsibility we all share in our choices and exposure to these things. Reading God's Word and applying it to countless contrary worldly things is certainly a full time job but it has been very rewarding and doing anything less would have left him in a cesspool of spiritual deception and attack. I praise God that he has given me this child and the talent and desire to discern the times to protect him now and equip him later.

WE have a sense of humor, so I like to think that God has a sense of humor (else where would we have gotten it from?)

So here's the setup. I'm driving in my car (as I do a lot these days) when the Rapture happens. But God "delays" the transformation from corruptable to incorruptable for just a split-second (just for my benefit) and the result is that I whack my head on the windscreen just as I'm about to pass through it, on the way to glory. He has a belly-laugh, and claps me on the back when I get home, in that big-brotherly way....Ha Ha....Very....funny.

I ordered 1,400 (Chick Tracts) and I carry about 50 at once in my purse, and just leave them in gas station rest room, on the aisles in between products at the grocery store, and at bank drive-throughs in the little thing that holds all the forms.

Read closely, it's a THEORY. This does not mean that it is true. Tell them that if they believe it so much, why don't they merely make it a law? There should be no relevant reasons for that.

Seriously, this happened .... My son has a t-shirt I bought for him last year. He wore it the other day and I noticed around the surfing logo is a very well cleverly hidden skull face. He has had this shirt for a year and when I looked at it before buying it I didn't see it either until two days ago. My husband has a "hawaiian shirt" that also has the skull on it cleverly hidden in its pattern. He wore it several times before I saw the skull in the pattern. He had the shirt a couple years and never noticed it.

Can't be too careful these days as they imbed stuff into what you buy and you never know it.

And we already know the God haters of the ACLU do not have any respect for Christians. Look at the lie of separation of Church and state. The ACLU made that up and then lied about why they do it. Soon, God will deal with the ACLU and it's mocking God and His will. I pray those lost in the ACLU find Jesus before it is too late. Not much time left and the stance of the ACLU does not bode well.

We do not watch anything with magic, yes that includes all disney movies with witches, fairy god mothers, all of that... the new scooby doo movies are a no no here. I just recently realized how bad the care bear movies are that I watched as a kid, that have now again. We dont do any of the pokemon stuff or any of the like. It gets extremely tiring (not to mention just plain annoying) to hear people tell me how stupid that is, but of course they are either non believers, or baby christians.

The theory of evolution is so misplaced and invalid. It makes it all the easier to say that because we know God is 100% real. I've done tons of studies on the theory and when you honestly look at it with a clear and completely open mind, you'll choose God's way of creation.

I'm sure they'll see this thread and get a laugh out of it. I'll take comfort that God gets the last laugh.

I know that the chaplains have lost the freedom to pray in Jesus's name. I saw it first hand on FOX new. President Bush awarded a Posthumos award to soldier killed in Iraq. The Soldiers family was presented an award in their Son's honor. The Chaplain prayed by saying Almighty God and then he asked for comfort and strenghth for the families of the fallen soldier. At the end he paused... as if he was struggling with not saying the name above all names! Then after that eerie pause he suddenly shouted AMEN! He totally left out our Lord and Saviour's name completely. The Bible tells us to pray in Jesus's name always! He is worthy and I was so totally shocked that this happened! The theory of evolution is a crock, it does not and cannot precisely explain how supposed genetic changes occurred, something that should be a jiffy if it had happened.
Often proponents of evolution will claim that somehow a defunct gene mutated into something useful.
If shown the evidence of the fossil record, they then jump on the punctuated band-wagon, which only makes the odds against that happening bigger.
Somehow they just want to believe that there is no God or Saviour and will say anything to keep the possibility of Him away from their daily lives.

I used to converse with a wiccan online. I would witness and she would listen, but sadly, to my knowledge, she has never come out of the wiccan religion. She used to teach a 'childrens wiccan class'. I've been saying that God is trying to get our attention for years, since back when things started heating up in the early part of the decade. Unfortunately, I think people's hearts are hardening rather than turning to God. I've been praying that the disasters in China and Myanmar will be opportunities for God's people to turn hearts. They hear this garbage at school, other places, and among their peers. It seems to be the cool thing right now for kids to claim to be atheist. Just keep loving your son and praying for him. He belongs to Jesus and no one can snatch him from Jesus's hand.

The theory of evolution is so amorphous that it adapts to answer every objection, and adjusts its assertions to meet new evidence. But a theory that can constantly be modified to accommodate every finding is hardly scientific...
