I need to go back and read it more thoroughly, but in watching him speak, I could see some of the techniques he used, that had been listed in the article. So material things and how much of these material things you can provide to one or two kids is more important than having a large family that God has blessed you with? I'm sorry, Lori, but your attitude is exactly what is wrong with society today.... Who cares if they can't send their 15 children to montessori school, girl (and boy) scouts, summer camp, have math tutors, dance lessons, and whatever other materialistic things that other people think are so important and that their children just have to have. My sister is unsaved, and it pains me because she works with children. Children with problems; children from broken homes, with mental illness. While she was in college she worked with a group that tried to get prostitutes off the streets, she was even shot in the arm by an angry pimp.

She tells me that "I just do it because it's the right thing". I try to tell her that that voice that speaks to her, that tells her to perform these good works is God. That the goodness in her is Jesus, and if she ignores it, all those good things will mean nothing.

So it makes sense to have a "DeJesus Fund" but of course they are being "tolerant" and not showing any discrimination as they seek to erase Jesus.

I have never ever seen anything like this posted in the paper as "typical news". They are trying to mainstream this "religious" belief. There are so many other newsworthy items that were NOT posted. I find this disturbing that it isn't shocking and veiwed as benign. It's little wonder that NJ is such as cesspool ... . I know NJ has problems with witchcraft. Separation of Church and State doesn't exist. The constitution simply states that Congress shall make no law establishing a state religion. That means the President could constitutionally declare Christianity the country's religion, or any state legislature for example.

YES, a quick personal tale....I was going for a ultrasound of my kindeys looking for stones. It was summer I had shorts on the cotton type nothing fancy. My wife got the wheelchairn for me, I went to get in it she told me "your shorts are on backwards" I told her "good think God has a sense of humor" So you see God does, I had the ultrasound and was OK.

I just got in an eMail - for the umpteenth time - a thing about "lessons for 2008" from the Dali Lama that's "pertinent whatever your religious beliefs."

The advice may be good, but frankly, as a Christian, I don't give a darn what he has to say, nor do I wish to promote his beliefs in any way. Needless to say, I deleted it without reading it, and certainly did not "read quietly then send it along on its journey, and within 96 hours something amazing will happen." [angry smiley] Just the very thought that someone who purports to be a Christian would even send me something to affect my "karma" annoys the heck out of me.

I've asked people over and over to NOT send me this junk. I'm trying to compose a good, Scripture-laded response to send to them and hopefully make them realize that believing in and promoting this garbage is witchcraft.

What would each of you respond?

The theory of evolution teaches that living things are becoming more complex as time progresses. Because the chromosomes in living matter are one of the most complex bits of matter in the known universe, it would seem logical to assume that organisms with the least number of chromosomes were the first ones to evolve and those with the most chromosomes are the end result of millions of years of evolution experimenting to increase complexity in living organisms. From the chart, it is "obvious" that we all started off as penicillium with only 2 chromosomes, and that we slowly evolved into fruit flies. After many "millions of years" we turned into tomatoes (or house flies) and so on, until we reached the human stage with 46 chromosomes. One of our ancestors must have been one of the identical triplets—opossums, redwood trees, and kidney beans—with 22 chromosomes each. If we are allowed to "continue evolving" we may someday be tobacco plants and maybe we may even become carp with 100, or maybe even the ultimate life form, a fern with 480 chromosomes! Don’t you believe it! God made this world and all life forms, as recorded in the Bible!

I think this passage is saying that it is OK for God to create people for the express purpose of punishing them in hell. What is wrong with creating a person who belongs in hell and then sending them to hell. If they belong hell and God sends them to hell, what is the problem? Creating a person who belongs in hell and then sending them there is just as legitimate as creating a person destined for heaven. No one is going to be unjustly punished in hell.

The "peace" sign is from witchcraft, It comes from a ritual they do when someone from a "church" upbringing wants to join a coven. The witches get antsy and a little uneasy when someone that wasn't raised in witchcraft wants to join, so they take a cross (usually made out of clay) and make the initiate turn it upside down and break the sides down, to signify the rejection of Christianity. This gives the coven "peace" that the person is 100% into it. That's why the symbol is also referred to as a "broken cross' by witches. So remember this the next time your kid tries to tell you it's just a cool hippie symbol.

Let me ask you this? Why would anyone want nuclear disarmament? Why would someone not want us to use that which God has given us to destroy our, and his, enemies? Have you not noticed it was Christian countries who developed nuclear weapons? How can you ignore that it was God himself who provided the materials with which to build these weapons and then granted Christian nations the wisdom to develop them? If the muslim god or the buddhist god were the true God, I think we'd see muslim or buddhist nations as the nations who invented these weapons. As it is, the only reason they have them is because someone was a traitor to their God and their country and provided these heathens with the ability to build these weapons.

The other day, on the day of the beginning of the Annapolis Summit, my DSIL's departure date to going to Las Vegas, NV, to fly off to Washington, DC...for which I told her to not be too surprised if her fellow passengers onboard her plane begin disappearing right before her very eyes, upon her return home flights. I told her that I too, may be gone as well, by the time she returns home.

My SIL, you see--is a firm Budist believer, who thinks Jesus won't mind if she is. At the time she told me, my mind went blank, but then later on...Jesus told me what to say to her about this, by quoting his words from the NT in the Bible. Now I'll have to look up His words, and show them to her IF I'm still around that is.

I often look at groups of people and aks myself if I'll meet any of them in heaven.
Football players: none.
Politicians: next to none.
Bartenders: probably none.

I've looked a demographics and countries. Some contries will be very empty after God's wrath has run its course.
And then I look in my neighbourhood and ask, how many houses/buildings will still be standing after all that hail and brimstone and earthquakes. How much descruction will be in the streets.

It ain't going to be pretty, that's for sure.
But I'm sure they won't miss us.

I feel this is a devastating blow to the core of who and what America used to stand for. I would rather die at the hand of terrorist or enemies than to be protected or represented by pagans. In the Old Testament did God's make armies full of devil worshipers prosper and defeat the enemy? Uh, no. So then why do we think it is okay and that God will continue to protect and make us victorious if we are allowing open worship of false gods? The Bible tell us that God will send them strong delusion.

Some speculate that this could be an encounter with UFOs. Others have said that the New Agers have called for "assigning the christians to another dimension" so the New Age can be ushered in.

But whatever the delusion, many will listen and say, ahhhh, o.k., now I see what happened, and then go about their business.

My theory, is that the non believers, who have been unable to prove physical evolution, will say that there has been a quantum leap in spiritual evolution and the undesirables and weakest links have been removed and they are left on the planet as the superior of the species.

I keep feeling like I have to tell everyone Jesus is coming.. Even when it will embarrass the heck out of me.. like to family members...
Just yesterday I called my brother and was trying so hard to talk to him.. I was failing in a big way... I was shaking and my jaw was shaking so much I could not hardly talk..
The strange things is that he and his wife attend church all the time and their family in in church 3 times a week..
I finally just came out with it.. I've no clue how come I was struggling so hard.. It was the oddest thing I've felt in over three years.. I mean I've been emotional before.. But to be almost unable to speak and shaking and fumbling all over my words... it was pretty strange..

I 'm sure it was the holy spirit working through me.. that was a tough battle for me to fight... God won though.... hehe as if he wouldn't lol
