Every single NON-BELIEVING, Secular scientist who has set out to prove evolutionary theory has come to the same conclusion: The Universe Was CREATED. It is a mathematical fact. I must then assume that all of these "scientists" about which you speak, as well as their theorems and proofs, have continued to build on the same faulty foundation; and that they never bothered to research/prove that foundation in the first place. Even ~Darwin~ recanted his theory! Yet, by then, it had become so "popular", that he could do little to correct his error, and his writings and protestations were summarily ignored.
I remember back in the 80s I was in a book store. I held a copy of Hubbards book and then held a copy of the holy bible. Not only was the bible smaller and easier to read but there was more truth in just the title alone. How painful it is to see people falling for this malarky.

Yeah, she pretty much flipped out when she found the file I have hidden on our computer. I have a notebook hidden in my dresser. Kind of a letter of warning and reminder of how much Jesus loves her and that I really want to see her again. It also tells how to find the hidden file on our computer.
I used one of the basic rapture letters from this site and she pretty much freaked out and threatened to leave. Well hopefully the seed is planted. Back to washing dishes, doing laundry, taking out the trash, and cleaning the litter box for Jesus!

The fossil record is actually very strong evidence in favor of creation and against evolution. Many fossils are the result of creatures that perished suddenly in Noah's Flood, for example.

I wish I had some advice for you. I'm not in the exact situation, but even though my husband is a believer and we used to be on the same page, he gets annoyed with the extent of my faith I think. It's hard to feel like you are facing persecution for following Christ from the one person you are supposed to be closest to. Just stand strong, and continue doing the things to grow in your faith. It's the only way you are going to be able to be a witness to him. If you stop going to bible study and being a part of the body of Christ, how will you be able to win him over?

The premise of the vampire is that you drink someone's blood to live forever. In Christianity at the Last Supper, Jesus directed His disciples to drink of His blood, and while it did not directly say they would live forever, it could be implied (if you squint). I used to be very into vampires, but no more!
Honestly the first thought that came into my mind is that I have to be raptured with clothes on if it looks like this. I hope the good Lord surrounds us with a 'mist' of sorts to blur out our details if we are raptured without clothes as some have suggested will happen.
In parts of the UK high school diplomas are held back if the student fails a simple graduation test that asks the question "Is evolution real?". If they say no...no diploma for them. IMHO the athiest I know personally are very self centered, close minded, don't want to answer to anyone or anything and admit what they don't know wont hurt them...
But the proof you suggest is the fact that intelligent design is widely talked and written about in all types of media- If there was nothing to this theory, surely the liberal media would have turned its back, however they report because of the debate that this theory has sparked among scientists.
I can't imagine trying to be a good person for a lifetime , and at the end finding out it was a massive wasted effort and missing heaven. Yet that is probably what will happen to most people. The horrors of being a 'good' person. I'm glad I messed my life up when I was younger because I had no problem acknowledging my sinfulness. Only God could have put my life back together. I can honestly say that nothing good resides in me aside from Christ.
I am absolutely FED up with all these atheist. They complain about everything. I am sure satan is enjoying all of this. Sadly it seems the atheist are multiplying quickly, enticing more and more people in to their beliefs and away from God. Everywhere I look it seems an atheist is around the corner spewing hatred. I would have lost it on her and her "friend". They come into MY house and disrespect my beliefs and values like that? They come sit at MY table and act in such an outrageous and offensive manner - announcing their perversion to our family when we're here trying to be thankful to God. Oh no. OUT! I believe that only the babies of believers will be raptured based on the examples of the families of Noah and Lot being removed before judgment came, while the children of the nonbelievers perished.
I do not believe babies born to non-believers will be raptured. I agree rapture-me that the Bible is loaded with the precedence that the children of non-believers suffer right along with their parents.

The really funny thing is that Charles Darwin recanted his evolution theory very late in life. Of course, no one wants to see that now. I had a geology professor in college who admitted that evolution as it is taught cannot be true. It relies on masses of 'missing links' that should have shown up in the fossil record by now. If they never show up, then evolution has been disproven. How often do you hear people talk about it? There is no proof or series of proofs for evolution that would show an unbroken string from some ape-like creature to man. They have no string of evidence. They know it. They don't care.
I got lucky and had 2 rapture dreams the other night. in the first one, i yelled out loud,' "Jesus!"

Hi, I'm really hoping to get some advice here. My sixteen year old sister attends a Bible study at her school (they meet early in the morning or after school hours, depending), but just recently one of the other members invited a Catholic student to attend. (facepalm smiley) At first I thought this would be a good chance for them to witness to him, but it's become clear from what my sister has said that he isn't there to learn at all. Instead he's being divisive and has already stated that they can't convert him, and then he acts offended when they try to lovingly show him the false teachings of Catholicism and how those teachings are leading millions of people to hell. (eyerolling smiley) Also, when they were discussing the end times and how everything is starting to match up and hoping that the rapture would be soon, he told them that the rapture was a lie popularized by Darby (headscratching smiley) and that all the scripture supporting it is either misinterpreted or taken out of context. (fainting smiley) They tried to show him how the scriptures do in fact support the pre-trib rapture, but he insisted that it was a dangerous belief and that he wanted no part in "their desperate pipe dream." (eyetwitching smiley) My sister wants to ask him to leave, but some of the others are afraid of offending him further, and SOME are even starting to think that he may be right (headshaking smiley), saying how they don't see how he's not a Christian and wondering if the rapture actually is a pipe dream. (fainting smiley) My sister has asked me what she should do, but I'm at as much of a loss as she is (running around screaming in hysteria smiley)--Do any of you have any ideas?
If I ran across unisex restrooms in this country, I'd be loathe to enter them. I'd want family members of either sex to have an escort or two and I'd want one myself. I'm a married male who has attempted to never be alone with a female other than my wife to avoid any appearance of impropriety and to avoid false accusations. I could imagine walking into a restroom where there was a female and no one else and then being arrested as I exited due to a false accusation. We live in a very sick world and no honest person or Christ follower is immune from attack.

Science tells us our body renews all its cells every 7 years. If we were only our body we would have to relearn everything again because all of our knowledge is contained in the physical aspect of man. But this again is not so, even the bible shows people who died in heaven remembering and recognizing others.

This makes my blood BOIL. I would LOVE to take a child (or several children, for that matter) home and give them a good life and so would several thousand other couples who cannot have children. The problem is, there ARE NOT "so many unwanted children" in foster homes. The majority of them have been heartlessly aborted by selfish women who have been brainwashed into believing that it is their choice to kill their own child and that there are no consequences for doing so.

I guess the bottom line is GOD IS IN CONTROL. There is not one baby that comes into the world that God did not give to us. Whether or not we have the resources is not the point. If we seek God's will for our lives, He will take care of us, PERIOD. Doesn't matter if we have one or twenty kids. He will provide. I don't worry about the world anymore because it's out of my control. Even conceiving children is out of my control. Thank the Lord I'm not in control of these things. Praise God.
O.K. now this is weird, but do any of you remember, growing up, when you're mother may have told you to make sure you changed you're underwear in case you were in an accident? Well, for the last few weeks, I make sure that I am not wearing holey undergarments because when the rapture takes place, everything we are wearing is left behind. (I don't have alot of money for new clothes!) I know it's goofy, but anyway, it's been on my mind. Like I said, weird huh?
Funny you ask this. My husband and I have a friend that we were debating whether she was saved or not. Hubby said yes because she's always said she was Christian, I said no. I had a feeling she believes her "good works" are what will get her into heaven. So, one time when we were at her house, I somehow brought up Jeffrey Dahmer (the serial killer that ate his victims). I said that the story was that he was saved when he was in prison, so we would see him in heaven. Then I told her Mother Theresa may not be in heaven if those letters she wrote that questioned Jesus were true. Well, our friend just about had a heart attack!
So now, that's my new test to see if people really understand grace and salvation. Tell them that Jeffrey Dahmer may be in heaven and Mother Theresa may not. The way they react really shows what they believe.

The Atheist mention 9/11 and religious memorials. When it got down to the nitty gritty inside those towers 99.99999% of people had to have been praying to God. Like so many other things when the preverbal crap hits the fan is when so called atheist are asking for God's help. Which is what we should all do all the time obviously.
I was just reading in the thread about how old the earth was, and a few pictures were posted there about polystrate fossils. This got me to pondering, has anyone ever taken the supposed conditions of Noah's flood and tried to reproduce it on a small scale to see if we can create fossils or oil?
I don't anticipate ever seeing anything like this from a secular source as the last thing they'd want to do is prove that the what we see today was the result of a worldwide flood. But then, they'd probably just explain it away, like they attempt to do with everything else that is irrefutable evidence.
Their reasoning is very circular - and you have to break the circle in order to make any headway.
