If you look at our history and what made this country prosper it was white, European immigrants. The shifting demographics that put Obama in office (along with the fraud) are shifting us to black and brown, and these nationalities are largely (not all) unable to strive for and produce the kind of grown and prosperity that this nation once knew. So we will sink into the status and class of the nations from which the immigrants fled. This idea is not from a conservative, but was put forth by a liberal. We are on the path of a third world banana republic, and those entitled people who put Obama in office will find that the prospersous people will leave or quit being so prosperous and their hands will be left empty.

The white race has always prospered on the backs of immigrants and colonised peoples. The reason that white "culture" is now declining is because free peoples throughout the world have stepped up and said that the colonial paradigm is no longer acceptable. Whites are at a loss as to how to continue to thrive without without slave labor, which is why many are turning to more subtle forms of slavery, like third-world child labor, etc.

That's pretty damn racist in and of itself. American white people can't care for themselves without forced labor to pamper them? The fuck is that shit? At best, that applies to the minuscule percentage of quasi-aristocratic plantation owners immediately after the signing of the 13th Amendment. To say that that applies to ALL white people without mentioning any qualifiers or exceptions is to denigrate the hard work of working- and middle-class whites to provide for their families.

Given American labor productivity is much higher today than it was in the 1950s I fail to see how black and brown people are dragging the nation down. Perhaps it has something to do with Wall Street, lobbyists and our government....

Just like the US sank to the level of the poorest countries in Europe during that period known in American history as the Gilded Age? So why was it that after all those immigrants came from much poorer countries that the US emerged as the richest country in the world?
J. James, melanin-deficient people have a long history of exploiting other races that is too detailed to go into here. Briefly, you're correct about the plantation owners, but remember, even the northerners at that time were using products produced by slavery - where do you think their clothes came from? After the abolition of slavery, whites turned to other forms of indentured labor through the rapid colonisation of Africa and other non-white nations. Today, the American economy thrives on the exploitation of Mexican immigrants and offshoring of jobs to countries that permit child labor and work conditions that are very similar to slavery, such as China. As these social structures are questioned and gradually overturned, I believe we will see a significant slip in the influence white people hold over society, as without their serfdom economics, they really have very little power.
Edit: And this is not meant to be a dig at white people. Many working and middle class whites are indeed fine people who are just trying to prodive for their families like the rest of us. But white "culture" as a whole has a lot of baggage to deal with.
His4Life, if you are going to expand your indictment of "White Culture" so broadly, you are going to catch others in the dragnet as well. White people such as myself- pardon, would you like me to refer to myself as "melanin deficient?"- do not soley speak for America. I don't know if you've noticed, but we are a rather diverse place, and if we Americans are exploiting people in colonized areas(to be fair, America was NOT really ever a colonial power, the Phillipines and Cuba temporarily notwithstanding) in the past, or serf labor from the Latinos and Chinese today, then that means the 12% of black people and whatever percent of Hispanics, Middle-Easterners and Asians in this country are also reaping those ill-gotten benefits.
Even if you were to narrow that scope to the pasty, entitled über-rich 1% and Wall Street types, I'll remind you that us poor working white shmucks are also their single largest clientele of victims, not just minorities.

Justin Idea, I have to defend J. James at that point. I don't know what his intentions were in presenting himself as African-American, if he even did. I may simply be mistaken or thinking of another person on the board. I have not seen any evidence that he is racist. While we disagree on many topics, he has always been courteous and respectful.

Some people (black and white) simply fall in love with someone of the same race, or prefer to be with someone who shares their cultural values. My first husband was white; I'm currently married to a wonderful black man. Both relationships are "legitimate" and neither one makes me a racist.
When I critique on here, I am critiquing the white culture as a whole for what it's done historically. This has nothing to do with individual white people who may or may not be racist. You sir, sound like the sort who is following Charles Manson's philosophy and hellbent on inciting a race war. I find your post tragic.

From what I understand of this, it is saying that only whites have ambitions for greatness, if this is true, I wonder both what my latina girlfriend has and how overpowering and sickening ambition must be.
