Tolerance is the furthest these schools promote. You get teachers and principals alike rattling out students whom openly state they don't condone homosexuality. What really occurs is the homosexual community silencing any whom oppose it. You say homosexuality is a sin or shameful and you're labeled bigoted and hateful.

I would get called a racist if I said all black people where lazy, and I wouldn't be unfairly labeled.

When you harrass gay students and preach it like a sermon, yeah, teachers and principals tend to try to stop it.

Uh, what's happening is, the administration is handling problem students (typically rabid, frothing-at-the-mouth Bible-queers) who were harassing others.
You're not saying "Homosexuality is a sin." What *is* being said, is vile, hate-filled, bigoted shit like "God hates fags" or "you're gonna burn in hell, faggot!"
The school -- no, SOCIETY -- has EVERY RIGHT to maintain some semblance of order by disciplining the people who are causing problems. In this case, the problem just happens to be Christfags.
So if these kids stood up and said that they don't condone equal rights for blacks, women, etc., you'd berate the teachers for taking issue with that?

Also Homosexuals are not an organized group like churches, they are a demographic like Christians, Asians or Rich people and thus they have no "agenda". If you were really being silenced you'd be dead already.
When I went back to my primary school after coming out gay, my principle was all edgy around me and told me he didn't agree with my lifestyle (he's a fundie, too). So you clearly don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
