Without checking Facebook, I suspect YADA is anorexic, an unhealthy condition in which women can stop menstruating because they are too poorly nourished to produce hormones. I seriously doubt whether such women can ever conceive.

I once read about a village where everyone believed both boys and girls menstruate. Then one teenage boy's parents took him to a Western doctor because he hadn't gotten his period yet and they thought he had amenorrhea. The doctor was confused but eventually figured out what was going on. The boys in this village were all being sent to work in the fields, where they contracted a stomach virus that caused them to bleed from their anuses. This was why the villagers believed men menstruate. The boy with "amenorrhea" was too sickly to work in the fields, so he didn't contract the virus.

I've heard less bizarre crap about "primitive tribes" and found out it was fake (or, at least, highly contested). Who said this, and how do we know they're trustworthy.
