While I have no problemo with the concept (heck, same-sex nookie is a regular thing in critterville, so why not transgendered critters), this person sounds....weird.

Look, I'm genderqueer, I get it, but seriously.. your animals don't give a fuck about the meanings behind your words, just your tone. You could call them Cocksucker and they'd love that all the same as long as you say it in a 'happy' voice.
I can't tell if this is serious or just a poe, but if it's the former, well, I don't thinks pets really give a shit what 3rd person pronoun you refer to them by behind their backs. My dog barely understands simple commands and suggestions; the distinctions between gendered pronouns would be utterly lost on him.
My friend occasionally addresses his male dog as "bitch" rather than using his name, and it makes no difference.
I doubt most animals would care what pronouns you used even if they did understand.
This is probably a troll. I've seen a lot of these floating around Tumblr; they're people trying to mock 'SJWs' via satire.
I will say, at least they understand how satire works, even if their argument is wrong.
