(Responding to a study saying racists had lower IQs)
The answer for that is pretty obvious, though you seem to fail to see it. Low IQ whites have to live closer to blacks in general and low IQ blacks in particular. This close proximity leads to antipathy (I.e. racism). So of course the low IQ in whites correlates with racism. If you corrected for proximity to low IQ blacks, the association would disappear.

Low IQ whites tend to live in white neighbourhoods. And wouldn't seclusion lead to stigma, leading to racism?
The answer you provide is not that obvious at all.
@Hasan:
Recently we Germans have the sad opportunity to watch this principle in action. The big* demonstrations against the “islamisation” of society happen in parts of Germany which have the lowest proportion of actual Muslims living there. The people who live in areas with actual Muslims just know that they are people like everyone else.
We had similar problems with protests and attacks against foreigners and asylum seekers in the early 90s, also mainly in areas that had almost none of these.

*They seem to have been a straw fire. Already the counter-demonstrations pull more people and the “movement” descents into in-fighting.
Anyone who has ever seen a white supremacist family on Jerry Springer will know these goofs are as dumb as a bag of hammers, no matter where they live.
Oh, and Dogmatic? How do you correct for proximity? Also, your comment suggests that IQ has a strong social component. Do you have any proof on this? Or are you just passing gas through your mouth?
So that gigantic point racists make of keeping as far away from minorities as they are able: never interacting with them beyond shouting nasty things from a distance, refusing to live or work with them, moving to another checkout at the grocery if one stands in the line or works at the register, home-schooling if there isn't anywhere white enough for a "proper" education that shows how white people invented everything and Birth of a Nation is a documentary...
That's close proximity?
It seems to me someone like myself who despite being an urban hermit still manages to interact with people of various ethnicities on a daily basis, grew up without being taught to wall off certain people, (walling people off came naturally to me but I wasn't exactly selective about it,) and takes a more or less objective view of daily life has signficantly less inclination to be racist even though I think most people are assholes in general.
My objective view? When there's blame to be had, even if there's nothing to be logically blamed for, it goes to whoever stands out in the crowd. If you make a habit of doing something illogical and even twist logic to defend the reason for doing it then I don't imagine it being very hard for your mind to atrophy.
What I'm getting from this is that Dogmatic believes stupid people are poor (fallacy). Poor people have little choice of where they live (true). Black people tend to be poor (true, but not for the reasons he'd believe). White people who interact regularly with black people tend to be racist (fallacy).
According to his "logic", stupid people would have the most exposure to the black community. Which means they would be the most likely to be racist going by his criteria. So if you remove poor white people who live near large numbers of black people the IQ of racists would go up if he were right.
Unfortunately for him he's a fricking moron aand his logic doesn't play out. Could someone post that Dr Cox picture? I can't get it to work.
Confused?
