If there is no God, why then do the most remote countries and tribes believe in some sort of god? because they know that one is there. atheism is only found in the "educated" countries and where faith in God has become less sanctified.

Yeah, funny how those educated countries have the resources to discover that seemingly supernatural events like lightning or meteors have perfectly natural causes, and thus no longer need to attribute a god to it to explain it.
Since the relationship between a higher education and a greater tendency towards atheism is well researched, I would expect an idiot like you not to understand.
Here's a clue, it has nothing to do with sanctity, and everything to do with intelligence.
If there is no God, why then do the most remote countries and tribes believe in some sort of god? If the Earth is round, why did so many idiots believe it was flat?
Same bloody thing. Why do so many people believe in God? Because they're deluded. Plain and simple.
Because they know that one is there. Strawman, strawman, on the wall...
Atheism is only found in the "educated" countries [...] Why on Earth is he putting "educated" in quotation marks?
[...] and where faith in God has become less sanctified." Yes. Where people are allowed to thin for themselves...
Well, because they´re unable to find a better explanation for what they see?. And anyway, why do they have a different version of God anyway, if he´s so real?
Because fear of god, whether he exists or not, is useful and effective at holding unenlightened, primitive societies together. Once education becomes widespread and concepts such as humanism and social responsibility dawn, god becomes unnecessary.
Yes, because the people in educated countries know (or ought to know) how the world really works and thus we do not need to invent "gods" to explain things.
Only ignorant, uneducated people who don't know the real explainations for things need invent "gods" to explain them.
Unfortunately the religious institutions which know that the real facts of life will kill them have tried, and continue to try, to drag humanity back into the Stone Age and blind people to the real explainations for things.
@Emily May
atheism is only found in the "educated" countries
Emily May, I want you to go home and think about how that statement destroys your argument.
Superstitious belief is easily explained, usually through anthropomorphizing objects and animals and attributing human behavior and abilities to things that aren't even human. This happens because they simply have more imagination than understanding.
The question you should be asking yourself, why don't they believe in the same god or gods? Wouldn't have the one true god revealed himself to everyone in the exact same and consistent manner? Why then the differences between Krishna and Jehova?
It's all obviously derived from human imagination, not divine intervention.
why then do the most remote countries and tribes believe in some sort of god?
Not true. The Piraha tribe of the brazilian amazonas region doesn't believe in any sort of god. They believe in spirits, but these "spirits" for them are observable things, like lurking snakes or similiar. There is nothing "supernatural" in their beliefs, no afterlife, no heaven, no hell, no imaginary lord in the clouds.
They even managed to deconvert a christian missionary ;-)

Strange then, that most remote tribes are pagans, i.e. believe in many gods. They know that there are several gods out there.
With modern science, we can now explain almost every strange fenomenon, which were formerly attributed to the actions of gods.
In short: More knowledge = less need for gods
(Why did the thought " More maturity = less need for comfy blankets and teddy bears" pop into my head?)
There's a great segment in Eric Von Danikens movie "Chariots of the Gods" about a primitive culture. During WW2 Americans made their island a landing field, when the war was over all the planes and military left. Later planes flying over noticed plane shapes made of branches and leaves on the island.
They were waiting for their Gods to come back, pleading for it.
And who can blame them? They've actually seen and interacted with their Gods
"If there is no God, why then do the most remote countries and tribes believe in some sort of god? because they know that one is there."
Easy - they simply invented their own religions. Example: Rapanuian ancestor worship on the island of Rapa Nui ('Easter Island'), via the use of Moai:

Now, I'm sure you'd agree that this 'invented' belief system has as much credibility as does that of your Judeo-Christian God, amirite?
If you disagree...!
"atheism is only found in the "educated" countries and where faith in God has become less sanctified."
So the country you live in is less educated, and therefore is ignorant ?
You said it, I didn't. Honesty. So refreshing in a fundie.

Sometimes, it almost (almost ) seems as if one of them is on the verge of 'getting it'. But then I reread and see the "because they know that one is there" and realize we still need more evolution. A lot more.
