[Response to the question "Is it possible to reconcile catholic moral doctrine with Nazi Germany's actions against Jews?"]
Yes it it, because Hitler was against international jew, the new form of the wandering Jew, who refused to help Christ in the Calvary and was condemned to travel all around the world because of his sin. Anyway, the Church always taught that Jews were the Mystical Body of the Antichrist, and jews always fought the church because ofthis. Hitler knew about this.

Well, gee of course! Jews are the mystical bodies of the antichrist. What the fuck is wrong with people today? how the hell can people believe this shit? Does every quote on this site come from a mental institution?
BTW I have a wandering jew in my apartment, where do I fit in to the catholic church and the nazi party?
Jesus-bloody-tapdancing-christ-in a flaming dumpster. Now I understand why people need drugs.
Why the universal hate against Jews? So thgey did a bit better, economy wise, back in the day and they didn't die as much during the plague. This doesn't make them evil. Just smart with a good hygiene code. And they didn't kill Jesus, the Romans did, and it was kind of the whole point of Jesus that he would suffer and "die for sins".

Well, the catholic church didn't had much problems with nazis those days. If I recall correctly, Hitler was never excommunicated.
The catholic church seems quite comfortable with dictatorships all along the world.
Mystical Body of the Antichrist? Buddy, I don't know what the fuck crazy-ass church you went to.
And Jesus, the "king of the Jews," was killed by the Romans. Get it straight.
Why do you not persecute Italians for the death of Christ, after all Romans were directly involved? For that matter, your stated beef with the Jews is that they didn't offer Christ (the omnipotent son of God, who should not need any help) help, so why not persecute persons of every ethnic background whose ancestors didn't aid Jesus while he was on the cross?
Genocide is acceptable as long as one's ancestors may have been involved in the crucifixion of Jesus?
Are you sure you read it right? He wrote catholic moral doctrine not catholic moron doctrine.

And the "doing better" part was in no small part due to the church forbidding Jews to own or cultivate land, or to raise cattle (except for their own consumption perhaps), basically forcing them to specialize in a few professions, that happened to be some of the most profitable, and also often required a level of instruction: bankers, tailors, goldsmiths,... There was also the prohibition of usury for Xian bankers/moneylenders, coupled with a demand from the nobility for loans that a Xian banker couldn't afford to give at the rates he was allowed, IIRC.
It´s not possible. Not only Christ was a Jewish but also included in his group a Greek Syrian woman and a Roman. Moreover, sinners and prostitutes too. One of the biggest mistakes of the Church or rather, its followers, is not understanding this point. Don´t get wrong, God is uncomfortable to the "Christians", not so much the Liberals.
The only point that I thought was missing from the old comments: Judaism persisted because to them, the signs of the messiah have not all been accomplished by Jesus. As others noted, early Christianity was a sect from Judaism. And ruminating today, on modern interpretations of an old story of uncertain authenticity from 2000 years ago, to justify modern antisemitism, is nonsense. Flawed justifications.
Confused?
