As an anti-feminist woman (yes I AM a woman, yes I do identify in the outside world as anti-feminist) I have to say that I don't hate feminists. I totally disagree with about 90% of their beliefs. I dislike just about everything that is to be found in the feminist propaganda. I despise the feminist movement.
It is my contention that feminism has hurt women far more than anything men have done. I believe that the de-femiisization of women has been a major factor in the rise of depression in women and in the divorce rate. I believe that the emasculization of men has harmed men singularly and as a gender within our society. I am sick to death of reading all the little girlies spouting their feminist dogma when they haven't even left their parents homes to experience real life. And I can clearly see how much harm feminism has caused in our families and hence harmed our children and continues to harm our children. Therefore, I will always speak out against feminism, here and in the real world. And I further think that men speak out less becuase they are so vilified if they dare to raise their voices in their own defence.

That's a lot of wrong to pack into one paragraph. Divorce happens because it can. Before that, women were deserted, beaten, and/or just drank themselves to death. Furthermore, as a very adult male, I don't speak out because I don't defend the indefensible.
"As an anti-feminist woman "
This male feminist pities you.
@Hogire: Sadly, there are plenty of other women who genuinely think like this individual.

What you believe is irrelevant.
Some questions. Is Yahoo Answers the right forum for your views, since it's mainly inhabited by droolers? If you're not male, have you ever considered becoming one? You'd make a far better herp-a-derp man than you do a drooling female. Also, you'd fit in better on Yahoo Answers as a moronic male.
This seems to be to be a man, not a woman, actually.
Or just another brainwashed self loathing "Christian" woman who thinks the "man" should have complete control over her.
A MRAs dream wife, too bad for MRAs they hate women too much to get a date in the first place, never mind a wife. Oh the irony in that.
I actually don't see what's wrong with this quote. We might not agree with it, but it's certainly not one of the "Darndest things fundies say". In my opinion, it seems like a fair and honest opinion inspired more by personal experience rather than dogma and tradition.
Not fundie.
She says that that she disagrees with 90% of feminism, that doesn't mean that she believes women must be subservient to men. She just says that she is sick of radical feminist's antics.
You can believe in equality in genders and NOT be a feminist.
"I am sick to death of reading all the little girlies spouting their feminist dogma when they haven't even left their parents homes to experience real life."
Admittedly, there is some truth to the notion that a hell of a lot of people -- of both sexes -- spout off about injustices in the "real world" having never actually experienced the real world.
That being said, what makes you think that they're girlies? Maybe they're boysies.
You're right. Clearly having gained all those troublesome rights has done nothing but harm women. God, why would a woman want to be allowed to vote, or choose who she wants to be with, or generally be a person and not a possession? No, clearly being barefoot and in the kitchen with a man you were married off to without your consent is all any woman would, could, or should ever want out of life.
Feminism hurt women more than society treating women and girls like property? Who knew! People who spew this drivel are ignorant of history and what feminism actually is.
This isn't someone speaking out against "militant" feminists. It's the same old sexist tripe repeated by the anti-woman crowd. With some poor mens blather, as well. Feminism doesn't harm children. And "de-femiisization" isn't a thing and thus doesn't cause depression or divorce. This is just a load of bullshit pushed by sexist douches.
So, what do you have against earning as much as men do for the same kind of job? Against having sovereignty over what happens to your body? Against being able to divorce an abusive husband? Against having the right to vote? Against having adult rights? All these things have been fought for, by feminists, asshole!
There is nothing in feminism about " de-femiisization of women" or "emasculization of men". Only equality; equal rights and responsibilities regardless of gender.
Shut up and keep quiet in public, you woman, you! If it were not for feminism, you'd have no public voice, and if you despise feminism, asshole, you ought to keep quiet.
I know many men who are feminists, and they DO speak out, in favor of equality. They realize that it's much more fun and satisfying to have a wife who really, really love them, instead of being afraid of them, and who's staying because she sincerely wants to, not because she has no other alternatives.
paidblow: 'You can believe in equality in genders and NOT be a feminist.'
Disagree. That 'equality in genders' bit is feminism in a nutshell.
Happy Misanthrope: '...I do find white, middle class women in the western world talking about their oppression as laughable.'
Tell that to women/girls who have been raped and unable to get justice. To women who've been unable to reach the top of their career because the menfolk prefer it that way. To every young girl who suffers young men calling out sexist remarks to them. (Nice legs, what time do they open? Come home and f... with me honey. Both said to my daughter in her early teens. You are aware, of course, that not all feminists are radical man-hating Radfem Hub-ers, right? Most aren't, in fact.
angry ugly girl:
Now you're just being pedantic.
Nobody said catcalls are just like being stoned to death, and you know that. There's more to discrimination than murder.
Or are you going to say that white people yelling "go back to Africa, n***ger!" at blacks is acceptable, non-oppressive language?
Treating women as nothing more than disposable objects for sex is[/] oppressive. It's not as bad as stonings, but it comes from the same mindset (which too often is the mindset that leads to rape). Catcalls are sexual harassment & verbal abuse; defending that behaviour says a lot of negative things about one's character.
"You are aware, of course, that not all feminists are radical man-hating Radfem Hub-ers, right? Most aren't, in fact."
I am. The problem is that in, my opinion, radical feminism has crept on a lot of the mainstream third-wave feminism.
However, you treat societies like Pakistan or India, where women fear for their lives, as the elephant in the room, while taking advantages of our feminist society. That's where, even if you are a woman, nobody takes you seriously
Confused?
