Bull those indians never advanced beyond the stone age until the europeans came. They where constantly at war with each other( even today the sioux and crow dont get along. They never said that they owned the land. They said things like no one owns the earth. the earth is the mother. you cant own the mother. They had no concept of land deeds. Also the plains tribes where relatively newcomers to the plains they too it by force from the mandans and other peoples who where already there. Some indian chief stated a people will be on a place for a time a stronger people will come and take it from them not right or wrong just the way it is.
