@Meeeh Yeah, same here. I was bullied for 8 years at school. No self esteem, not particularly good looking. I've had quite a few girlfriends. So all this "incel" nonsense is self inflicted, pity party crap. The only thing stopping these guys meeting girls is their own shitty attitude and lack of humility.

It's basically shortening the phrase 'involuntarily celibate'; incel is a term they came up with to try and make it sound like it's not their fault that they can't get laid.
Speaking as someone who can't get laid, but is perfectly able to admit that it's because of me and my multitude of social anxiety type issues, these 'incels' are basically whiny little bastards who tend to believe that they are entitled to a sexual relationship with a woman. You can usually throw in some extra misogyny and lack of acknowledgement that women are sentient beings.
So...I was a virgin into my late 20s. The reasons were complicated (combination of depression, environment, the women I was pursuing, etc), but I only briefly flirted (ha) with the idea that women were the reason. Too much self loathing from the aforementioned mental illness.
Eventually, I got meds, moved, stopped talking to women who clearly weren't interested in me and now have a nice relationship and actually have women chasing me for a change. My guess is that incels don't take that inward look to figure out that the problem might not be women, but themselves, or maybe just the environment and women they happen to be around.
So, you're an incel because you haven't found any women that you like?
