We need a civil war in Britain, I am getting fed up with how the BBC is distorting everything Corbyn does, we need to stand up & be counted

Problem is, the BBC has to remain politically neutral. But by definition half of the people will be on one side of the mean and half on the other. If the BBC is truly neutral, then left-wingers will think it's too right-wing and right-wingers will think it's too left wing.

The link to the tweet no longer works. Did anyone catch if Mr Cox thought the BBC was too tough or too lenient on Corbyn? Not that it matters. If they think the BBC is too tough, they should see what most of print media is saying about the guy, and if they think its too lenient then, well, they should see what most of print media is saying about the guy as well. Corbyn has received largely negative press, but the BBC is not nearly the worst of it, so either way they shouldn't really be your concern.

Well, it seems they already have a civil war on the British left. In a US context, if you knew nothing about the politician, you'd think you were reading a quote from someone in the Tea Party. Horseshoe Theory of politics etc.

The trouble with that is that is that Corbyn fans as extreme as the OP believe the "MSM" - including all the outlets you mention - are inherently biased against their man, largely because they report on what Corbyn said and did in the past. Their favored outlets seem to be social media, the far-left newspaper the Morning Star, and the TV stations Russia Today and Press TV, the propaganda arms of the Russian and Iranian governments respectively.

I submitted this quote; it's definitely that the BBC is too tough on Corbyn. I'm not surprised it's vanished; in the UK, that kind of tweet arouses the interest of the police.

This is indicative of the mentality found within many a Corbynite.They claim that Labour represents a broad church, but will hound anyone who holds a different view to them and will resort to childish ad hominems against fellow Labour supporters and MPs over addressing them maturely in a debate. The hypocrites will uite happily laugh along to media portrayals of UKIP politicians, yet will scream with rage whenever the media apply the same level of scrutiny towards Jeremy Corbyn and his clique.

It saddens me to say it, but I can no longer bring myself to vote for Labour with Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott and Livingstone strongly involved. Their Labour party is an omnishambles which values publicity stunts and presenting a suitable image to their own echo chamber over pragmatism, and it will be the poor who suffer the most if Labour are no longer electable due to dear leader's focus on image and gearing his policies towards a minority of Labour voters rather than the wider populace. This leaves me politically homeless, as I am not a Conservative (I vehemently disagree with their policies on welfare, education, the economy, healthcare and more), I cannot abide UKIP or the Greens and the Lib Dems are hapless and a non-entity now. All I can do is hope that Corbyn goes before 2020 and we'll have a sensible Labour candidate once again. Heck, it's so bad that I'd take the wet lettuce that is Andy Burnham as leader! At least he doesn't have dodgy acquaintances.

I find it humourous how many of the Corbynites share many a trait with your standard Tea Party buffoon. They share the same disdain for those not as extreme as them within the same party, with RINOs being used to describe more moderate Republicans by the Tea Party and red Tory/Blairite being used to describe more moderate Labour folk by the Corbynites. They also have a tendency to be rather blindsided, whereby they claim to be the stalwarts in a fight for democracy against the corrupt elite when it is abundantly clear that they have a disdain for anyone airing an opinion or pushing through a motion which they disagree with. The reaction to Labour MPs, particularly the women, who have voted for British airstrikes in Syria have been obnoxious by the bullies in the Corbyn fan club.

There are those tipping Hilary Benn as a potential replacement for Jeremy. Meanwhile, the by-election for Oldham West & Royton goes Labour's way. David Cameron is still a pigfucker. Film at 11.

Yep, I definitely agree that the fallout would be huge, regardless of how Corbyn would go. To his dedicated supporters it'd be a conspiracy no matter what and their rage would be amplified by the fact that many of them are members, which gives them some authenticity. However, for the future of the party, a moderate is needed, otherwise too many potential Labour voters will go elsewhere, leaving us with a Conservative government for many years to come. The membership, along with the allies in the SWP, Left Unity et al., represent a comparatively small proportion of the population in comparison to the softer left, the centre-left and swing voters, so the repercussions from them do not worry me as much as it does with the rest of the population.

As for the Lib Dems, I do not think they are hapless just because of their poor election results this year. Despite the small pool of candidates, I feel that Tim Farron was the wrong choice. His widely publicised views on same-sex marriage, for example, is just one thing that he's known for amongst the general public, which just compounds the negative image on the back of the now toxic Clegg. I am not ruling out voting for them, given the right local candidate and lack of change within Labour, but I cannot see a significant number of others jumping on the bandwagon
