If gender is a social construct, then this: "man trapped in a woman's body"
...is incoherent. #Feminism is inconsistent.

There`s sex, ther`s gender and technically there`s a lot of stuff, but where you fail, is your classical ignorance of lumping all your opponents into a single sack. The people who believe gender is a social construct are typically not the kind of transfolk, who do stuff about their condition.
If I believed my gender to be mere social construct, I wouldn`t have pumped few dozen thousand buck to not look and feel like a disgusting herm.
There is a difference between sex and gender. Your sex is the sex that your brain is wired to; your gender is a social construct of conventions and customs built around sex difference.
And what has this got to do with feminism?
That's biological sex. I can understand someone external to the issue not seeing the difference, though.
Still doesn't explain what the hell any of this has to do with feminism.
If gender is a social construct
First, that's a fucking big "if"...
Second, that would be Gender ROLES are a social construct... (which they are... very very few things require a penis to do...)
Of course gender is a social construct, otherwise it would have been IMPOSSIBLE for women to work in factories during World War II or serve in many armies around the world now.
And there are a number of feminists who are close to the edge of reality agree with with you about Trans-women, but for different reasons. Go ahead, say this to them; they'll stove in your head.
Feminism is not a hive mind; there are heated arguments about exactly your question.
However, if gender is a social construct, then it really should be mutable...
Confused?
