Scientists have just figured out that there are more than three trillion trees in the world.
This is around eight times higher than previous estimates. In other words there are around 422 trees-per-person in the world, not 61 as originally thought.
So now all the tree-huggers can stop trying to save trees, and instead concentrate of saving babies that are being slaughtered around the word in abortion clinics.

Andrew-Genesis Kohler That is strange...Science changing their minds on something...
Peter Hinchliffe Its one of its strengths.
Ray Comfort Peter Hinchliffe. It's continually wrong. So you can't trust it. You can trust God's Word. 100%.
Iggy Kogan Are you using any of the scientific advances from the last 300 years or so in your daily life, Ray Comfort?
Ray Comfort Iggy Kogan "Science" just means "knowledge" Iggy. Darwinian evolution is a pseudo-science.

First, proof of God? (Scripture is allegation, not proof.)
Second, proof that the Bible is what all the frustrated carnival barkers allege it to be (His Word)?
Third, what is a phrase for something that is too sub-par to even be called pseudo-science?
I think I can answer the last one. "Quackery."
I can trust "God's" Word to be 100% what some human element wants it to say. Now excuse me while I go looking for four-legged insects.
Even if this is true, there are still less trees than there used to be. Or more to the point, less quality air producing trees. You can have all the fucking pines and willows you want, but without the more productive rain forest and jungle tree to create good breathable air, we're still fucked. We came up in a global environment full of trees. By cutting them all down all we're doing is reducing overall air quality.
Why does the right hate future children so much that they're so willing to fuck up their lives and have the gall to try and justify their destructive actions in the here and now?
Hey Ray, what dictionary are you using. Is it Websters, Oxfords, or the one that calls bananas atheists nightmares?
Ray Comfort: "So now all the tree-huggers can stop trying to save trees, and instead concentrate of saving babies that are being slaughtered around the word in abortion clinics."
Someone Else: "The far majority of abortions are performed at a prgenancy stage where the EMBRYO doesn't even have a conscious mind yet! There are no 'babies' being slaughtered!"
Ray Comfort: "You pro-abortion folks are continually wrong! We pro-lifers know the truth: that .0001 seconds, no more, after sperm has fused with egg, we have a microscopic version of a newborn, fully conscious and self-aware and with all limbs and organs in place! So MILLIONS of babies are being slaughtered!!"
Yes, I read that report in the paper last week too. Know what it also said?
That it still isn't nearly enough.
It'll take trillions more and the better half of a century just to level off the impact mankind has had on the Earth but we now know that despite the best efforts of ignorance, industry, and standout examples of nigh-supervillainous contempt for the world that sustains us such as Glenn Beck the task isn't quite the hopeless cause we feared.
Ray Comfort, King of the Non-Sequitur
I recall seeing someone pointing out how Ray and his family was getting rich from his "ministry" after Ray had gone on for several comments talking about Jesus, wealth, and the christian obligation to help poor.
Ray's response was, paraphrased, "I'll have you know I ride a bike to work."
The guy is a scumbag con-artist.
Also, this is about accounting for the makeup of the biomass. The percentages. What Ray is using as an excuse to not give shit, is like saying "we have one hundred dollars" and explaining that we don't have to worry about going broke because now we know instead of having ten 10 dollar bills, we have have two 20 dollar bills and six 10 dollar bills. We are totally rich now !
> Iggy Kogan "Science" just means "knowledge" Iggy. Darwinian evolution is a pseudo-science.
Where did that come from? The OP was about climatology, and the other comments were about science in general. Sheesh!
there are around 422 trees-per-person in the world
That still doesn't sound like a lot, when you figure that those trees produce the oxygen we need to live.

J. Jonah Jameson is the only fictional character I've seen who can have a toothbrush 'stache without being unfavorably compared to that other non-fictional guy who became infamous while having one.
I wonder why that is?
Science changing their minds??
No, it's scientists reaching new conclusions. If they didn't do that, it wouldn't be fucking SCIENCE.
Let's see, we've got trees -- babies being slaughtered -- a movie plug -- science is continually wrong -- Darwinian evolution. Is there a subject hiding in there Ray, or is this an exercise in stream-of-consciousness?
Two points I want to call attention to. First off, I love how Ray admits he despises science. Few creationists are willing to do so openly, instead hiding behind a feigned respect for the process. It wasn't always so, though. Cornelius Van Til, the guy who came up with the apologetics used by AiG openly admitted that his only interest in science was "it contradicts the Bible, so it must be trashed".
Second, while the word science might be derived from "knowledge", the meaning of the word has long changed. Science is not simply a body of facts, but a process of learning new information. And while our understanding of the world has changed, it's not always a zero sum game. It is possible for a new discovery to enhance or alter preexisting knowledge rather than toss it out altogether.
Ray, if "science" merely means "knowledge", you really don't believe in knowledge, do you? You really don't have any knowledge, do you?

Better go back and count, bananaman.

One of those 3 trillion trees.
"It's continually wrong. So you can't trust it. You can trust God's Word. 100%."
Well, let's see.
On the one hand, we have people who are usually wrong, but are willing to admit when they are and continue working towards the truth - not to mention that they themselves are usually the ones proving themselves wrong by continually testing what they've learned.
On the other hand, we have a moron with an incurable addiction to lying, utilizing flawed interpretations of an already-flawed book which he will nevertheless abjectly refuse to even consider for half a second the possibility of being wrong, even when the book itself or his own idiotic statements contradict themselves five sentences later.
I totally can't tell which one I'd trust more, guys.
Ray, if "science" just means "knowledge", why the fuck call it "science"? Why not just call it "knowledge"? Why have two words that mean exactly he same thing?
If as you say, evolution is "pseudo-science", and "science" just means "knowledge", then evolution is "pseudo-knowledge". What is "pseudo-knowledge", Ray? Fake knowledge? Knowledge we don't know?
Confused?
