[If the Bible said the sky was green, would you accept that or would or assume somehow your interpretation of the Bible was wrong?]
I would wake up every day and thank God for His beautiful green sky.
You are attempting to naturalize a supernatural God. The Bible says the wisdom of man is foolisness to God. I assume God knows far better what color the sky is than fallible, imperfect men do.

Yet another example of how the Bible in a fundie's eyes is the Truth, yet really says nothing at all.
If it says the sky is blue, it's right. The sky is blue.
If it says the sky is green, it's
a metaphor.
the world as it really is, seen through God's eyes rather than our fallible eyes.
Whenever a portion of the Bible disagrees with a devout Christian, it is either ignored or re-interpreted to suit his or her views. In other words, it teaches him or her nothing new and is as such worthless.
The obvious follow on question is "Why would god lie about the colour of the sky?". Woops. No more than you can ask a Creationist why God would lie about creating the Earth and humans in six days.
@ Praetyre
"Color" is the American way of spelling "colour."
Another example of this kind of thing is the word "theatre," which in the United States is normally spelled "theater." Both are technically correct, but they are in two different dialects.
That's the nutshell.
No matter what reason, logic or my own eyes tell me, I will mindlessly follow what this old book says, because it's magic. How fucking sad.
Um, wow?
That's actually kind of pathetic. I can never understand people who take the Bible to be the literal Word of God. I think it's often missing the point; being a Christian isn't about meticulously following every Bible verse word for word. I feel it's more about generally being a good person, following Christ and being connected to God and all the wonderul things He created. Using the Bible to inform your views and ideas on everything is just dumb, and personally, I feel it can actually stunt a relationship with God.
But to Fundies; the Bible is really all there is, and all there ever will be. To them, if it isn't in the Bible, it's worthless.
"[If the Bible said the sky was green, would you accept that or would or assume somehow your interpretation of the Bible was wrong?]"
Neither.
I would see that the sky is blue, And accept that the bible is wrong about yet another fact.
If the sky was green, you'd be dead, because the air would be full of chlorine. The sky is blue because of diffuse sky radiation - it's basic physics, not the work of God's paintbrush.
Praetyre dont be so petty.
Why mock us for our minor spelling differences,we have plenty of other idiocy going around for you to mock us about.
Evolution, bush, fuck it,between those two thats enough to go on forever.
Confused?
